Alix Nichols I had psychic abilities as a kid. Then I lost them. Why? WHY? WHY????
Alix Nichols Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy (Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen).

Elizabeth is smart, feisty and independent. Mr. Darcy is tall, dark, brooding and passionate under his rigid exterior. The perfect romantic hero.

And then there's Colin Firth who played Mr. Darcy in the 1995 BBC adaptation... (Go to this page: http://www.alixnichols.com/inspirations and scroll down until you find my favorite mash-up of the best moments of that mini-series).

Considering the above, it should come as no surprise that I've written a modern P & P variation, "Find You in Paris", as a tribute to the unforgettable couple created by Jane Austen.
Alix Nichols Yes, I did! And, after searching everywhere (not an easy task when you've moved as many times as I have!), I found it.

Bad surprise: My first romance is only eight pages long (I was convinced I'd written a solid twelve-pager). Good surprise: The book is illustrated!
