I wish I had a great answer for this! I have the biggest book hangover after finishing Easy Prey, and these characters haven't left me yet. Every time I start trying to write something new, my mind wanders back to these three.

I'm a high school teacher, working in a program that supports students facing a wide range of challenges. I'm fascinated by the ways that the Internet, and social media in particular, complicates the experience of being in high school and affects teens during these key years of identity formation. Jenna, Mouse, and Drew came to me as characters one day, and I started thinking about what their differing high school experiences would be like, as three very different teens. Easy Prey was born out of this.
