What are you currently working on?

Uttam Kumar At present I am working on a Novel on Punjab. It tracks journey of a Punjabi over last 14 years.

How do you get inspired to write?

Uttam Kumar Writing has been my passion since as early as Class IX. I lived in an atmosphere which was politically charged. Punjab was going thru' the worst phase of militancy at that time. So I wrote many stories, but in mind and never published. But after leaving my Job, I thought of putting my thoughts in front of public and I found Books the best medium.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Uttam Kumar The idea of "First Job and Ten mistakes" came from my personal experience while On Job. I worked for approx 19 years and have seen making these mistakes. But there was no guide on how to avoid these mistakes so that person can get ready beforehand.
