That's easy. About 2 years ago I released a new book that I was very excited about. Lined up a book signing at a Barnes & Noble, showed up and didn't sell 1 book. Now, if that isn't a horror story, I don't know what is.

I love the idea of time travel and would love to travel back in time and then come back when I wanted to like Claire in the Outlander Series. I love that book series and read it over twenty years ago and have enjoyed watching the book come to life on television in the STARZ version of the series.

One time I had $800 in my purse in an envelope and I took it out and hid it in my closet. Then when I went to find it and pay the worker for the job he had done, setting up my play structure, it was gone. Tore the entire closet apart but never found the money. My husband helped me. Then there was another time I threw my keys and car toggle at my purse sitting on the floor because I was in a hurry, then later went back to put the keys away properly and they were gone. Nowhere to be found. To this day I never found them. It is still a mystery to me this day what happened to the money and keys.

I put the work away for a day or maybe five or six days and wait for something to spark an idea. Sometimes it's a book I just read or a show I watched, and it causes a light bulb to turn on and off I go.

Well isn't it obvious? It is the best feeling ever, when you see the words, that were previously rattling around in your head, written down in a book, that you can hold in your hands. It is still a thrill to me, every time I publish a new book.

If you have a dream like I do, never stop striving to make it a reality. If you have to write your ideas down in a notebook and work on it later, so that you don't forget them, then do it. I write at lunch time, after work and on weekends. I love seeing an idea, come to fruition and when it is completed, there is no other feeling in the world like it. Never, never, never give up on your dreams!!!!

I am currently working on the 3rd sequel to the series, a children's book and an idea for an entirely different novel. Mind you, I still work a full time job, eleven hours a day, seven days a week, to pay the bills.

Sometimes I'm watching a show and someone says something to another character and I think, "Hay, that is a great line, but what would happen if I used that line in a different way?" or "What if this character said something similar to that to, so and so?" And like magic, I take off from there.

I loved writing "Angelina's Secret," so much that I didn't want it to end there. So I decided to start 19 years later, as Isabella, the daughter of Angelina and Jude Deveraux. I love lots of action in my romance novels so I just started with an idea of, "what would Isabella do if something happened to her twin brother?"
