The idea for THE KILL CHAIN came from a conversation at my mom's Thanksgiving dinner table. With a physicist, an aerospace engineer, a former military officer, and a writer in the family, the talk turned to emerging technology and one cutting-edge development: cube satellites. And that got me thinking! The result is THE KILL CHAIN, a break-neck thriller with high stakes and an unusual McGuffin that some will do anything to get their hands on.

My best advice for aspiring writers is read, read, read, and write, write, write. Keep your reading eyes peeled for the way other authors move you, as a reader, through their stories. Note how they built tension so you turned those pages. See where they wowed you with a reveal. And then give those techniques a go when writing your own drafts.
