I just completed and loved 'The Last Garden..." and intend to read more from you. Is it important to put your works in a particular order to appreciate them even more?

Julia Kelly Thank you, Nancy! The books all stand alone and are not part of a series, so there's no need to read them in order.

Julia, when did you realize yourself as a writer? After writing first book, publishing , success or …? You know this feeling inside «I am truly a writer»

Julia Kelly That's a great question! I've always thought of myself as a writer, but it wasn't until my first book came out that I started to think of myself as an author. Those two things have always been distinct for me!

Would you categorize your books as "clean?" I have the opportunity to request The Last Garden in England, but don't want to take up a review copy, and then abandon it if it doesn't fall in that category. TIA

Julia Kelly Hi Claudia, my WW2-set historical novels do not have explicit sex scenes and if there are mentions of sex it is "closed door." There may be some instances of strong language in the books in case that is also a concern.
