Hi Laurie! Getting more of my books into audio, especially the newer ones, is definitely on my to-do list
Abbie Zanders
It's on my to-do list! The kids are getting older in my mind, which is absolutely critical to writing them into romances. It's the mom in me, lol. I've already started scoping possible cover models and inspiration, too ;-)
Abbie Zanders
They are in the plans, but not anytime soon. The kids need to age in my mind before I can start writing romances for them. Plus I have stories planned for several adult characters in the series.

Hey Jasmeet!
Thanks for asking. I have two active series related to the Callaghans - Callaghan Family & Friends and Sanctuary. Eventually, I'm hoping to write a next generation series, too, but the Callaghan kids are still too young in my mind for romance.

Hi CJ! I'm so glad you enjoyed Rock Hard. My most flawed characters are also some of my favorites.
At the moment, I don't have any plans to publish more about the Lionheart family, but I like leaving doors open. I could easily see writing a small series, one book for each of the guys in the band. What (and who) readers want more of carries a lot of weight in deciding what projects I work on next.
Thanks for your question❤

Yes! And thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the Cerasino Family Novellas. I love writing about big families in small towns :-)
Dominic's book is next. My problem is, I have so many stories in my head and only so many hours in the day to write them down. Knowing what readers want next *really* helps me prioritize.

My first answer is Pine Ridge, the fictional small town in my Callaghan Brothers and related series. It, like most of my story settings, is based on where I grew up, and the characters feel like family to me. It's familiar and feels so much like home.
When I need to really escape, I go to Mythic, the world of my paranormal series. I'm fascinated by paranormal romance and would enjoy living among all the different preternatural creatures there. When I write in that world, I picture myself sitting in the diner, observing and taking notes while chatting with the locals. It's a good place to be :-)

Hi! If by "in the works" you mean "pinging around my head", then yes :-) I've often thought Taser & his team would make a good spin-off series.
I've also considered a cross-over into something semi-paranormal. With Taser, Maggie, and Shane all having that extra something, it's possible. My biggest worry is how my die hard Callaghan fans would feel about that.
Thanks for your question :-)

Hi Lujuna! Are you psychic or something? I had the same idea: short stories or novellas with the family that span a year's worth of holidays. In fact, I already started drafting some ideas for a Callaghan Halloween and will probably do the same for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and of course, St. Paddy's Day...
In the meantime, there's my Callaghan Family & Friends series. It features secondary characters that appeared in the original Callaghan Brothers series. In them, you get to read their stories and catch up with the Callaghans along the way. I've got two books in this series so far: Two of a Kind (currently available) and Not Quite Broken (which comes out on November 15th).
If hot military golden-hearted alpha males is your thing, you might also like Protecting Sam, the first book in my new Sanctuary series. Or The Realist, Letting Go, or Celestial Desire (which you get for free if you subscribe to my monthly newsletter) - they're standalones but feature former military heroes.
Thanks for your comment! I love talking books :-)

Hey Jasmeet! All the brothers and cousins have had their Happily Ever Afters, now they're helping their friends and family get theirs. I kicked off the new "Callaghan Family & Friends" series earlier this year with Spencer & Kayla's story, and Brian McCain's is next (releasing September 18th, initially part of the Love Under Siege anthology). Oh, and my new Sanctuary series has ties to the Callaghan Brothers, Connelly Cousins, and Family & Friends as well.
As for the Callaghans and Connellys themselves, I've been toying with the idea of publishing some *very* short stories and deleted scenes in my newsletter to keep everyone up to date on what's going on in their lives.

Hi Jenna! Yes! I love escaping to Mythic, and there are so many Extraordinaries that are waiting (not so patiently) for their turn. Karthik is being especially testy, and Brandon is more than ready to go after Muriel :-)

It was a dark and stormy night, providing the perfect backdrop for curling up on the couch with a good book. I snuggled in with hot cocoa in hand and tried to fire up my Kindle, but it... was... DEAD.
Abbie Zanders
Hi Jan, and thank you! I had a wonderful time writing the Mythic series, and plan to release several more books at least. I'm tossing around ideas for Karthik and Brandon's stories, but nothing on paper (laptop) yet.

Hi Sierra,
I'm thinking that I will write about the Callaghan kids eventually, but not anytime soon. They're still too young in my mind, lol. I am planning on releasing some books in the Callaghan Family and Friends series, which will be stories about some of the secondary characters you've met in the first 9 books (like Brian McCain, Taser, Nick, etc). I've got the first of these written and in the final phases of editing.
Thanks for your question :-)

Hi Jasmeet! Thank you <3 I'm glad you enjoyed the Callaghans and Connellys. The answer to your question is... YES! In fact, I just finished a draft in the first book of my new "Callaghan Family and Friends" collection. These books will contain the stories of some of the secondary characters introduced in the first 9 books of the Callaghan Brothers series.

Hmmm, interesting question. There isn't a lot of mystery in my life; everything is pretty straightforward. If my grandparents' tall tales hold any truth though, there might be some basis for a few paranormals ;-)
Abbie Zanders
Hi Jasmeet! The short answer is yes, there will be more books in the series. As a matter of fact, I've got one that I'm working on now. No word on when it will be available, though. Too many stories in my head and not enough hours in the day!
Thanks for your question,
Abbie

You might wish you hadn't asked :-)
I always have several WIPs in various stages of completion going at once. My attention span is that of a goldfish, and what I work on each day depends on which characters are talking to me.
Right now my active projects include two paranormal suspense stories (currently in various stages with editors), the next installments in the Callaghan Brothers and Covendale series, as well as another paranormal and a medieval historical. The first book in my new contemporary novella series is already written, so I just need to pull it together and get it out there.
That sounds like a lot, but considering some stories take years before they feel "right", it's not that bad.

This is a really tough question. I can't name one favorite when I have a couple dozen 'favorites'. So instead I'll answer this question: what is your *most recent* favorite fictional couple, and why?
Answer: Georgie and Kline from Tapping the Billionaire by Max Monroe. They were such a fun couple! Very down-to-earth, intelligent, hilarious, and sexy in love.

Hey Jasmeet! The short answer is, YES! The brothers have had all of their stories told, but there are others who I think deserve a story too - like Brian and Corinne McCain, Taser, and Nick Milligan, to name a few. There may also be some branches to the family tree that we haven't seen yet (* wink *).
If you're craving a little taste of Pine Ridge in the meantime, I'm putting together an "Interview with the Croies" at the request of some of my readers. It's where I "sit down" with the heroines of the Callaghan and Connelly clans and ask them the questions readers posted on my FB page. I'll be sending that out exclusively to my newsletter subscribers a little closer to Christmas.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in and you're not already a subscriber, head on over to my website (https://abbiezandersromance.com/newsl...) and sign-up. You'll get a free book, too :-)
