C.L. Clark Yes, I am. Right here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tales-...

(in case that doesn't work, I'm listed as "Tales to Tell")
C.L. Clark My most recent completed book came from my sitting down at my computer one evening when I was frustrated about something and needed to channel my annoyance out of me and onto paper. Alex, my psychotic antagonist was born. I hadn't intended at the time to make a book out of basically the scene where he flipped out in his kitchen, but another scene popped into my head and before I knew it other characters showed up to the party and had something to say, so I let them. I'm not an outline kind of writer. I see a movie going off in my head and feel compelled to share it with others, so that's what I write.
C.L. Clark Life inspires me - or rather the flip side to it. I consider myself a native to the Twilight Zone and tend to see things through "what if" glasses. So, every day normal things have a tendency to spark that part of my brain and before I know it I have to write about it. I have written all sorts of things, but my heart has always been for the short story where I can tell a slice of someone's life or a situation that happened on a strange day. I also like taking people's fears and turning those into stories. Whether I'm writing something short or something longer, you can bet it will be twisted and off kilter.
C.L. Clark I am currently working on three very different novels. The main one that I am focusing on is a mystery/suspense with a humorous flair written in the first person. My heroine is pretty spunky and I like how she sees things. This one is a little outside the norm (as most things I think and write about) in that her cat is an integral part of the story, but not in the way most books with animals come across.
C.L. Clark Usually I remove myself from my desk altogether and do something else. A walk is usually good and oddly enough a shower helps me. Sometimes I'll get cozy and comfy and either read whatever book I'm into at the moment or pull up an old favorite - at least that way I'm enjoying myself and not kicking myself in the head.
