My novella A Deep Purple Hue, written almost a year ago, may become reality; I see it in the news, I am a news and politics junkie. My current work in progress will have a lot of current news in it as well. I just see how good people can go a little crazy in our current times, and I wanted a hero to deal with all of it in a swift, final way.

Writing short stories was something I did just for myself as a young person. I always loved to read and I now had the time to invest in writing and trying to put out something that I would have enjoyed reading if I picked it up.

Research and be as accurate as possible, and write, write, and write some more! Looking at successful writers is what I currently do to aspire myself.

Knowing that my own mind sets whatever limits I have. Sometimes that thought also opens up my writing to additional scenarios that I hadn't before been contemplating. Also maybe today I spend 10 hours writing, blogging, doing what is necessary to make this a career, but tomorrow I may only work 4 hours, I am currently my own boss.

I step away, watch a movie or do anything except think about writing, often I unexpectedly come up with whatever I needed without actively looking for it.
