As a child I have always looked up to J K Rowling and Sidney Sheldon. While Miss Rowling gave me a reason to switch from poems to stories, Mr. Sheldon's stories taught me how to say stories. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart as whatever I am today, I owe it to them :)

To all those who aspire to write, I just want to say that please don't write for others... write it for yourself because that is what will keep you going even in the face of adversity, rejection and/or skeptic reviews. Additionally, I'd like to quote what one of my author friends once told me, "write the story the way you want to hear one". Wish you all the luck in the world! :)

For me, the best thing about being a writer is the gift of resolving even the complex of issues or conflicts between the characters and this really helps me grow as a person in life. I contemplate my real life problems as a story situation and then I sit back to think how I could get out of the situation.

When I face writer's block, I resort to writing the summary/details of the book like the names of the characters, the setting of the story and then after a few days, I begin writing with the one scene which I love the most or which relates to my current mood/situation.
