Mr and Mrs Weasley from the Harry Potter books have to be my favourite couple. They clearly love each other and their family very much despite the arguing and chaos. They are generous, friendly, open and place no importance on wealth or status. They are fun, their kids are fun, and their house is awesome.

The whole series, The Chronicles of Midway started as a short story I wrote for my children nearly twenty years ago. That story developed into the first novel, The Storyteller's Book. As I wrote it, I got more and more ideas. I couldn't complete the story in one novel but I managed it in four.

All four books of the Midway series are complete and published and now I'm working on my next project which is a mix of Utopia/Dystopia. First draft of book 1 is done but not got the title yet. Also not sure how many books will be in the series, I like to keep myself guessing!

I stop trying to write and have a break from it. The best thing I find is to do something else, watch TV, play a game, browse the internet or read. I usually have a couple of writing projects going at the same time so I can always switch if I find I come up against the brick wall
