Sorry for the late reply! Tommy’s book will be available from 05 November x

I have no plans to at the moment but I would consider it if readers really wanted it. I had no plans to do any more Hurricane books initially so I’d never say never :)

Thank you so much for your question and for your kind words! I’m actually working on ‘The Fire’ at the moment. My plan is to release it this year, but there is no definite release date which is intentional. There is SO much packed into this book, that I may end up having to split it into two novels, or a novel and a novella. As well as Tommy’s epic story, there’s also Danny’s back story which is quite involved. I do like my bonus chapters, so I’m also planning to add bonus scenes from the point of view of other characters such as Em telling Con that she’s pregnant and the birth of their first child. So if there’s any missing scene from The Hurricane series that you’ve always had a burning desire to read, please do let me know! In the meantime, any news regarding new releases and release dates is always sent out in my newsletter first, so you’re welcome to sign up here xx https://rjprescott.us17.list-manage.c...

I'm so sorry that I missed this question! Kieran is definitely possessive, and very protective of Marie. He and Hurricane grew up together and are cut from the same cloth. It's hard to say whether he's as possessive as O'Connell was, but he's definitely an alpha male hero like The Hurricane :-)

Just to keep you posted, here's the link to Kieran's book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
Hope you have a great New Year! :)

I'm not sure anyone can be as possessive as Con, but he certainly is possessive in a way that probably surprises him. Suddenly Con isn't the only one growling at Tommy for getting too friendly :)

Hi Sheetal, I won't be confirming the release date until I've finished the book, but as I'm nearly done I'm hoping that it will be February, on the anniversary of the Hurricane release. I should be posting the synopsis, cover and release date on Goodreads over Christmas, and I'll make sure to do a blog post confirming the same. I hope you enjoy it. I've had so much fun writing Kieran's story :)
R.J. Prescott
Absolutely!!! And thank you so much for your kind words. I'm working on Kieran's at the moment which should be finished in a couple of months and then I will either publish a novella from Danny or Tommy's book after that X

I accidentally turned off Goodreads notifications so I'm so incredibly sorry that your question has gone unanswered for so long. Liam won't be getting his own book, but you will definitely be able to follow his story through Kieran and Tommy's books and his mystery guy will be revealed in Kieran's story :)

I accidentally turned off Goodreads notifications so I so sorry that your question has gone unanswered for so long. I've seen some playlists that I are just awesome. Mine is completely eclectic, but it's music that helps me write. I hope you like it! :)
• Hans Zimmer soundtracks- for when I don’t want to hear lyrics as I’m writing.
• Rocky soundtrack- for the fight scenes.
• Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Hero’ and The Weather Girls ‘It’s raining men’- for Tommy
• Fort Minor’s ‘Remember the Name’- O’Connell’s ring music.
• General playlist- ‘Demons’ and ‘Radioactive’ by Imagine Dragons, ‘Halo’ by Beyonce, ‘Fix You’ by Coldplay, ‘Unwritten’ by Natasha Bedingfield, ‘Hall of Fame’ by the Script, ‘Trumpets’ by Jason Derulo, ‘Fighter’ by Gym Class Heroes, ‘Army of Two’ by Olly Murs, ‘Kiss the Rain’ by Billie Myers, ‘Wherever You Will Go’ by The Calling, ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams, ‘Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri and ‘I Lived’ by One Republic.

(view spoiler)[Fear not, all will be revealed I promise! Although Liam won't get his own book, he is such an integral part of the lives of Tommy and Kieran that his story will be continued in their books. You'll also be able to follow Em and O'Connell the same way and I promise that Liam's guy will be revealed in Kieran's book, although I will be publishing a standalone before Kieran's book will be available :) xx (hide spoiler)]

Hi Kim, yes I'll definitely be doing a book for Evelyn and Tommy and one for Kieran, though I'm not sure which one will be first yet :)

Hi Jiji
Many thanks for your comments and I am glad that you enjoyed The Hurricane, though I am sorry that grammatical errors detracted from your reading experience. The Hurricane was initially self published on a limited budget and although I proofed it many times, I have come to realise that there were grammatical errors that I missed. The re-print of The Hurricane and upcoming Aftermath with both be published through Hachette Publishing who have excellent proof readers and line editors, so I hope that your reading of The Aftermath won't be spoiled in this way. Thank you for taking the time to message me and I hope that you enjoy the sequel.
All the best,
RJ

Thank you for the wonderful compliment! I'm working hard at the moment to make sure that I do The Aftermath justice. At the moment I'm planning on following on with Kieran's book then Tommy's story after that. Of course, the characters are all part of the family so will all feature in every book. Thank you for taking a chance on a new author! :)
R.J. Prescott
Please, please forgive me if I've said something to the contrary in the book, but in my head he is 22. Em is in her second year of uni making her 20 :)

Thank you so much! I love your description of Danny as an 'armadillo' father figure because that's exactly what he is. Although he'll kill me for saying this, a lot of Danny is inspired by my own Dad. I remember that all the kids in our street used to be scared stiff of him when we were growing up and if one of the kids was unlucky enough to knock for one of my brothers during meal times (family meal times around the table were sacred!) then he'd literally just open the door and growl, chasing them away! Having said that, he's one of the kindest and most generous people that I know and has spent the last twenty years trying to help kids like O'Connell. :)
R.J. Prescott
If only...swoon! Although he isn't based on one person, many personality traits or parts of the story are based on people that I know or experiences that I've had :)
R.J. Prescott
I don't want to ruin any story lines in the future for you, but I can say that they despite difficult childhoods and the lack of parental role models in their own parents, I can see them both wanting children together in the future :)

Thank you so much for the amazing compliment!!! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it and I would love to see it as a movie as well. Fans of the book are so much better at casting the characters than I am, but it would be amazing to see them on screen. The Hurricane is my debut novel but I'm looking forward to sharing The Aftermath when it's finished :)
R.J. Prescott
Thank you so much!!! I'm sorry that you have to wait for so long for the next book but at the moment I'm juggling work and family with writing. I hope one day to be able to write full time, but I promise to get the second book to you as soon as I can :) x
