Shiloh Walker I'm so sorry...I just now saw this question. Yes, I do plan on writing more stories, I'm just not sure when. I'm glad you liked Cocksure!
Shiloh Walker Hi... I'm only seeing part of the Q here. Get what published? I'm sorry. Something is wonky with the format on my phone!
Shiloh Walker She woke to silence, uncertain what had woken her but the knock came again and she knew. Braced for the worst, she opened the door...and found yet ANOTHER door to door salesman.
Shiloh Walker The world of Nalini Singh's Guild Hunters!!!

I'd hang out in Ashwini's old apartment just so I could watch Illium and Aodhan fly around.
Shiloh Walker I've been stuck on a Guild Hunter and Psy-Changeling binge. I've also been reading some books by Vi Keenland & Penelope Ward, Ilona Andrews, Hailey Edwards, Stacia Kane...
Shiloh Walker It hasn't been republished yet... within the next couple of months! The original publisher went out of business and I've been slowly republishing the stories, but it takes time to get to all of them.
Shiloh Walker I...am planning on it? It will either be with a different publisher or self-published, but the plan I have in mind could hopefully spin into a new series with a new family, closing off the Barnes and giving Travis's story and looking at a new family, but I'm not sure yet.
Shiloh Walker Hi, I'm sorry... I didn't even know this was here! I'm working on it, but the publisher opted not to contract it so if & when it gets published, it will independently. I do plan to publish it, though.
Shiloh Walker I've only had what I'd really consider writer's block twice, both times after a personal loss. When I lost a baby, it took me a couple of months to *want* to write anything. When I did, the ideas I had were very dark.

Then in 2017, one of my brothers took his own life. It took a little longer for the block to hit, but once it did...well, I'm only now really finding that creative drive again.
Shiloh Walker It can be very freeing. Writing is sometimes a cheap form of therapy for me, letting me work out issues I've had in my life on paper... or the screen. And when I find out that a book I've written has actually other people deal with issues in their lives? It's a double blessing.
Shiloh Walker Keep writing. Once you start an idea, try to finish it. It's a lot more work to FINISH a book than it is to start one, so don't get in the habit of chasing whatever new and shiny idea comes at you while you're toiling along on the current work-in-progress. Make an "ideas" folder or use a journal to jot down all the shinies, then finish the WIP!
Shiloh Walker The first full-length book in my new series, The Cochrans of Cocker County. The title is Cocksure and it's a fake fiancee, friends to lovers sort of idea.

It was...inspired, we'll say by some events going on in the book world!
Shiloh Walker Various things inspire me. Like looking out a window. Hearing a song. A bad dream. Things I fear.
Shiloh Walker My recent release, The Doubted, is part of my FBI Psychics series.

I used to work as a nurse and one day, I was in the office where I worked and I looked out the window. We were on the 4th floor.

I had this idea of... "what if somebody was killed out there in the parking lot while somebody up here was watching and nobody else saw it?"

And the idea came from there.
