Max Moszkowicz Sr , is a famous German Born Dutch Lawyer and Holocaust survivor.

In 1933 Moszkowicz's Jewish parents fled to the Netherlands for fear of the rising National Socialism party and settled with their family in Maastricht. When he was 15 years old, Max was deported to Auschwitz. He had number 65016. Because Auschwitz was being dismantled, he had to join the death march to Mauthausen in early 1945. Due to administrative disorder, the prisoners were re-registered there and Max pretended to be the Protestant Max Raab (Raab is his mother's maiden name).
