LARISSA N. NIEC, PhD is the author of the four-book fantasy series The Sky Seekers, forthcoming from Stone Raven Press. Dr. Niec is a professor of psychology and director of the Center for Children, Families, and Communities at Central Michigan University. Dr. Niec works works with the families of young children who are experiencing behavioral and emotional disorders. She has written extensively on the development of the parent-child relationship and the dissemination of effective mental health treatments for families. The Sky Seekers is her first fiction series.
