Didn’t know there were queer characters in it. The queerness is just there, not a big deal, no drama about it. Perrrfect. I loved the expressions of the main character. Amazing comical moments but also a melancholic story. So great!

What the Hex?! by Sophie Escabasse
"Another fabulous entry in what I hope will be a VERY LONG series!

Escabasse does such a terrific job of mixing the fantastical elements of the story with real-life problems and emotions encountered by tweens. Young Effie deals with schoolwork, jealous" Read more of this review »

Her annenin ölümü çocuğunun suçudur. Bunu her doğuran bilir.

“They hurt you. You hurt 'em back. Or maybe it is the other way around. Whatever. Someday you might find a way to forgive each other. But it won't be like it used to 'cause that pain never really goes away.”
Brian K. Vaughan, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8, Vol. 2: No Future for You

“If he loved with all the powers of his puny being, he couldn't love as much in eighty years as I could in a day.”
Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights

“I'll be as dirty as I please, and I like to be dirty, and I will be dirty!”
Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights

“If you ever looked at me once with what I know is in you, I would be your slave.”
Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights

“Why did you betray your own heart Cathy? I have not one word of comfort. You deserve this. You have killed yourself. ... You loved me - then what right had you to leave me? Because ... nothing God or satan could inflict would have parted us, you, of your own will, did it. I have not broken your heart - you have broken it; and in breaking it, you have broken mine. So much the worse for me that I am strong. Do I want to live? What kind of living will it be when you - oh God! would you like to live with your soul in the grave? [...] I forgive what you have done to me. I love my murderer - but yours! How can I?”
Emily Brontë
