Hahaha!! By all means, post another topless picture if you want, I won,t mind!! :P Thank you, I am, it's really good! Poems right after, I promise!
Right?! Like I just LOVE Heyer heros, whereas the Austen ones are a bit more meh for me...like sure they're gorgeous on screen and all, but except Mr. Knightley whom I love, the others never make me swoon when I read the books. But the Heyer ones! Oh my! Im glad they included Mr. Bingley by the way, he is often forgotten and I LOVE him!!

You're absolutely right, actually, Heyer heroes are far more ruinous than Jane Austen heroes. With the possible exceptions (for me) of Colonel Brandon and Henry Tilney. :)

Yes, OMG! That list was spot on! Although, I must admit that Heyer heros ruined 21st century dudes for me more than JA's heros did.

I saw that one too and was just about to send it to you LOL :P "
... You STILL haven't listened to them?!?! o_O *dies*
LOL! Well, I beat you to it, I guess. :P You've got to admit it's very true, though, that whole list!

LOL! :D Thanks Anne. <3 Pretty much covers the general reaction to those poems, I think!

I will know whenever I finally read them!!

Thank you Christina! I hope you had a lovely Christmas! Happy New Year (for a couple of days from now :P) - it's been such a great year getting to know you and chatting about books with you. :)

You seemed to be getting through it at a very rapid pace, so I finished it this evening. :) I so agree about George and Isabella! But Iz annoys me far more than dear George. I can't wait to hear what you think of the ending!

Totally worth it. :D *scrolls down to look... again* I don't know why he's so darn ..."
Or poor male race? All the other men will never be as handsome as he is! :D
Where are you at now? I'm reading Chapter 22 now, and love this book so much, I think I have a problem. :D LOL! But I wish George and Isabella would stop behaving like blithering fools and freaking GET TOGETHER ALREADY!!!

Totally worth it. :D *scrolls down to look... again* I don't know why he's so darn attractive! *sigh* Poor female race. It isn't fair.
Yay! I've just read up to the end of Chapter Three (I'm trying to keep pace with you, more or less) and I am even more excited now than I was! Sherry and Kitten make me smile too much, methinks. All those suggestions for places to comment sound great! :) LOL, yes, that proposal... not high on the list of brilliant proposals, Sherry, I must say. :D

Eeeek! *swoon* Anne! I'll never be able to stop scrolling down my profile page now! Ah well, it is SO worth it... look at that face... <3 Can't wait to be swooning in every corner! :D Asid..."
Hehehe that's just the point!! XD Worth it though, I know right!! WHY IS HE SO DARN ATTRACTIVE!!!!
I'm so excited too!! FINALLY, I am reading it :D That's perfect my dear, you do that, and we ca have our discussions on my statuses and on my review (thread easier to find). I will also probably comment on your review page too, if that's ok, that way its another easy thread to find :D I can't wait to read more, so far it's wonderful!! Hilarious start with the failed proposal :P

Eeeek! *swoon* Anne! I'll never be able to stop scrolling down my profile page now! Ah well, it is SO worth it... look at that face... <3 Can't wait to be swooning in every corner! :D Aside from the ones I've already swooned in.
As to Friday's Child, it's not a problem at all, and I'm very, very excited! :) I will start reading it again soon - it won't show up on my profile because I want it to stay where it is on my 2014 Reading Challenge, but I will read it with you and keep up with your status updates, so we can discuss it there. :) Is that okay?

Thanks Evie. I still haven't forgotten about the Jane Austen one - it's on my Goodreads to-do list for today, after writing a review of Venetia. And you didn't sound pushy at all! :)

Yes, I did, sorry! I've just been so busy today at university - three tutorials, two lectures, and lunch with a friend. I'm in a lecture now too, but I'll have a think about your message and do my best to reply this evening, but I might not have time until tomorrow. :) Hope that's okay!

I'd love to check out your blog! :) Can you send me a link?

Hi Evie!
Yes, of course I remember you! Not creeped out at all. :) I can imagine your account may have got a little crazy... but you can leave groups, can't you?

Speaking of which - we did have a conversation on my profile a while ago which kind of tailed off, I expect you didn't get the notif for it. :) If you want to drop the conversation it's totally fine, but I just thought I'd mention it.
I thought you'd be pleased! I'm going to try and do a review of Far From the Madding Crowd this morning, though it's so cold here at the moment I can't vouch for my attention span.
<3 I'm very happy we're both back too. :)

Thank you for being so understanding - I do have a huge amount to catch up on, honestly! Besides which I'm planning to - don't faint - actually catch up on a couple of reviews (*gasp* :D) so it may take me a little while. But I am doing my very best, as I'm very excited to talk to you again and I hate waiting too long before replying to things. :)

Can't wait to start chatting again darling, we have a LOT to catch up on!!!"
:D Awww, thank you! <3 *hugs* I am very glad to be back!
I can't wait to start chatting again either. I've seen most of your replies, but unfortunately I won't have time to catch up on most of them until later this afternoon. :(

Can't wait to start chatting again darling, we have a LOT to catch up on!!!

Me neither! <3 Speaking of which, when your birthday comes along, of course I will send you a private message too, but I should like to make you a birthday card on the North and South group. :) So I wanted to ask - who would you prefer in a birthday card? Thornton or Gisborne? Or Richard, for that matter! (I must tell you, I think I've just come up with a brilliant plan for your birthday card, I only hope you like it... ah, why does your birthday have to be so far away?! *sulky face*)
Haha, you know, I always get distracted looking at pictures whenever the two of us are discussing Richard Armitage... so my heart is never very still! :D It will be very pleasant! Damn you, Bleak House, why must you be so long? :P
Well, you would think so, wouldn't you? But no. It's a little hard to explain, it's a lot more complicated than saying I like crying. But in essence, there are certain things that really touch me, and I suppose crying at those things feels right to me, makes me feel very human, and very me, if that makes sense. (Not that I cry on purpose, by the way - no fake tears from me!) So I sort of hate myself a little when I don't cry at things I think I should be. Does that make any sense at all?
Ooooh, I cannot wait!!! :)
*sheepish face*... That's pretty much all I can say. :D
(I honestly have no thought as to whether or not I'm making you swoon, seeing as I really have trouble enough controlling my own swooning with that image! As you know I love to dance, so I can't deny dreaming about dancing with him sometimes. *blush* I'm pretty sure he used to be a dancer anyway, so I'm sure he'd be wonderful at it, and it'd probably be me who didn't come up to scratch!)
(No! No no no! It was a moment of weakness, and you shan't get me to say anything like that again. :P I won't admit it! I won't!)
Hehe *stalk, stalk, more stalking...* :D I suppose I will need it! And I shall try not to come crying to you when Christina inevitably crushes my soul, probably over Gisborne once she finds out about that. No, she's not at all that bad, :D but still, I will not say you didn't warn me!

Thank you so much, though! I'm so happy you loved it. I can't wait until Christmas now!
Oh same here...BE STILL MY BEATING HEART!
Oh, I know you will! It will be as pleasant for you to see them as it will for me to post them!
You are ashamed for not crying much? But why? I thought you would have been happy that you hadn't cried? lol :P
I can readily imagine...XD ;)I hope so too! When I come back from my trip, I will try to watch it. I'm sure my brothers will happily want to watch it with me, they love it.
Hahaha, of course someone would :P :P
(RA dancing a Regency dance...oh don't make me swoon Becca!! That must've been really sexy! But I still hold to the opnion that he would be hilarious as Collins!!)
(hehehe...you are beginning to see reason!)
LOL ;) That's ok, stalk all you want! You're welcome. You will need it. And don't say I didn't warn you ;) LOL

Thank you so, so much for saying you loved it so much! It's so kind of you..."
Awww, darling, I was only teasing! It was just amusing seeing so many in a row, that's all - really, I have no problem with all your lovely smileys. :)
No problem! As usual I'm not being kind, just honest - it really was such a beautiful message! <3 *sigh* He's just too handsome... must stop thinking about his eyes... and... NO, Becca, no. Hehe, I will brace myself! Though I think you know me well enough to know I will be delighted if you end up flooding Goodreads with pictures of Richard Armitage. ;)
(Me too!)
Very true! Actually I am very ashamed of myself - the last time I watched it a couple of days ago I barely cried at all. I think it was firstly because I just wasn't in the right mood, secondly because I was waiting for the lines a little too much, and thirdly because I was probably dehydrated. Anyway, I am very ashamed, so I'm going to try and watch it again soon-ish (I was up to that point in my re-watch, by the way, I wasn't just casually watching it) and get a proper reaction out of myself.
Ah... yes, I may have exploded just a little. *sheepish face* Or a lot. :D
Yes indeed! Thank you! I can't wait to hear what you think, and I really hope you like it enough to watch the second one!
:D It was a pretty random little quote, really, but it was thoughtful nonetheless, and I did love it. In fact, I kind of burst out laughing when I saw it, because I'd almost been waiting for it - I knew someone would bring up Richard Armitage for my birthday, me having talked about him so much. :)
(Yes, I think I heard him say in an interview with The Anglophile Channel! Their assignment for one term at drama school was to learn one of those 'funny Jane Austen dances' and say a scene at the same time - so dancing and talking. Of course hearing Richard talk about doing a Regency dance as Darcy did absolutely nothing for my attempts to stop daydreaming about dancing with him... I'm the same with Darcy, I love him, but there are quite a few worthier heroes. But if Richard played him, I too would be gone! And yes, you should stop now! It. Would. Not. Be. FUNNY! *hyperventilates*)
(...Okay, maybe it would be a little funny, Armitage as Collins, but good luck ever getting me to admit it. :P)
Haha, no worries, I pretty much stalk your conversations with Christina. :D And thank you! I expect I will need all the luck I can get. I am very much prepared for the worst! I cannot say one way or the other whether I will fall madly in love with Avon, but I have a suspicion I will at least like him! :)

I think that may be one of your most sensible comments!! :D

:D :D =) :) :) Woot..."
Me and my overuse of smileys... I apologize. Not a single smiley will follow. Promise.
Thank you so, so much for saying you loved it so much! It's so kind of you. (resists the urge to insert smiley here). I love his eyes too...and his half-smile, and...gaaahhhh! He is so HANDSOME! The site WILL be flooded when I finish Bleak House. Everyone better brace themselves! (was going to put smiley, but no!)
(oh really? I love that face!)
I see what you mean! It's never affected me that way, but I can understand it! At least you know in advance that it will make you sad...
Hahahaha!! LOl that's so funny. "Oh, does he play Thorin?"... oh, oh! I can just imagine your indignation!! (no smiley!!!!!)
I really must watch it soon! I will message you immediately when I do so.
Did she? Awesome! You must've loved it. (smiley......!!!)
(LOL, sorry, but it's hilarious! Did he really? You know, I was never a hardcore Darcy fan, in fact he barely makes my list of favourite swoony heroes, but cast him as Darcy, and I'm lost! Still though...it would be so FUNNY!! XD I will stop now!)
Ah, and by the way, since I couldn't help but reading your posts with Christina...all I can say is Good Luck to you if ever you find yourself falling madly in love with Avon, and then having to discuss the love story aspect of TOS with Christina. Better be ready for the worse! XD

I do love any good historical fiction, and Georgette Heyer is always on top form comedy-wise, I believe. I feel quite the same way - I've had problems with the romances in other of her books (one in particular), but she is never a disappointment! If anything else, reading Heyer is always going to be a laugh. :) What's your favourite work of hers?

Probably! :D I've followed the discussions over it between you too with great amusement for quite some time. LOL, an understatement indeed! I should warn you I'll probably come down on Anne's side of the debate, but it should still be very fun. ;)

how to say no to one of the loveliest friend-invite I have ever received? Thanks so much for such kind words.
I really look forward to ch..."
Hehe, I should probably ask Anne's permission before discussing TOS with anybody, I guess... we hold quite different views on some aspects to use an understatement! LOL
But it's going to be fun ;)

how to say no to one of the loveliest friend-invite I have ever received? Thanks so much for such kind words.
I really look forward to chat books with you,
Christina :)"
Thanks Christina, I really look forward to chatting with you too. :) I've just ordered "These Old Shades" and "Devil's Cub", at Anne's request, so hopefully we can discuss those when they finally arrive. :D
Hehe, I know you wouldn't mind, but seeing as I'm aiming on my day being vaguely productive - I finally feel well enough to actually get up for more than an hour - I think I'll have to refrain this time. :P I'm glad you're enjoying Cotillion, though I don't think there was much chance that you wouldn't enjoy it! Well, unless it had that same narrator as TOS... -_-
Absolutely! I love Knightley as well as Brandon and Tilney, I just find he gets a bit lost among the long passages of not much happening in Emma. Anyway, Heyer heroes are far more swoon-worthy, I agree! I was quite happy they included Mr. Bingley too, it's sad that he's so often passed over. Possibly because he sometimes has a bit less back-bone than he should have... but he's so loving and loyal and adorable! <3
