Jitaditya Narzary is a travel writer primarily focusing on the Himalayas and Northeast India. Although he's been through every conceivable drudgery of corporate life, he finally found his calling in mindless solo meandering and meticulous documentation of forgotten places. He mostly travels solo, on a budget, and prefers backpacker hostels and homestays over resorts. His writings and photographs have occasionally made it to publications like Discover India, Mint, Freepress Journal, Discover India's Northeast, etc. However, the bulk of his efforts are reserved for his travel blogs, The Travelling Slacker, started back in 2011, and a new niche blog called Periplus Northeast, which focuses especially on Northeastern India.
