“Comment is free, but facts are sacred.”
C. P. Scott

“The Guardian's not just read by snurbs an' short liftaz. It's read by aall sorts...aall reet, it's a canny bit left o' cent-ah an' high-broo, but it's progressive, an' it doesn't look doon on its readaz. An' it NEVAH tells 'em wot t'fuckin think. An' it nevah acts as a moothpiece f'neebody. Government nor propriet-ah.”
