In 1954 he graduated from the philological faculty of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V.I. V.I. Lenin .

In 1957 he joined the CPSU.

Igor has published since 1955 many articles and books on Soviet children's literature, which examined the work of Sergey Mikhalkov, Agnia Barto, Sergei Alexeyev, Zoya Voskresenskaya , Albert Likhanov and others. ...more
