Coffee Table Book

I have a new book coming out shortly that is a fine art coffee table book on cemetery sculptures. I know that might seem a little odd, but cemetery sculpture is one of the little-known secrets of the art world.

If you get a chance, check out my 1-minute video primer on the subject.

Peter De Vries
“Sometimes I write drunk and revise sober, and sometimes I write sober and revise drunk. But you have to have both elements in creation — the Apollonian and the Dionysian, or spontaneity and restraint, emotion and discipline.”
Peter De Vries, Reuben, Reuben

Oscar Wilde
“The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it.”
Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray

Anaïs Nin
“Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.”
Anaïs Nin, Incest: From "A Journal of Love": The Unexpurgated Diary of Anaïs Nin, 1932-1934

Shel Silverstein
“Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”
Shel Silverstein

“The parts of my mind that apply logic and understanding had somehow abandoned me, and something primitive and instinctual took control.”
Danielle Rohr, Water Falls Down
