Me - well, I'm getting old now. But I've always loved words and books.
I am fortunate enough to be able to read rapidly and to become completely absorbed by what I'm reading. When by myself, I would rather read a book than watch a film. To me the book is a more visual (and more sensual) experience. That does have the disadvantage that when someone makes a film of a book that I like - well, it's never the same is it!

I have written poetry over the years and I’ve always liked using words, and take delight in shaping phrases and sequence. However the four books which make up ‘Caroline’s Company’ represent the first time my fiction writing has gone beyond a few chapters. Principles in Pornography?

Or - what is Erotica and what is just Porn?

This issue has troubled (or rather given me a lot of cause for thought) from the first part of the first book onwards. I suppose that the distinction between what is erotic and what is just pornographic is very much in the mind of the writer(and the reader?).
