Zane Marc Gentis is the mild-mannered alter-ego of an even more mild-mannered real person, sitting at a computer and writing this bio in the 3rd person. He grew up on a wine farm in South Africa surrounded by a loving family, but didn't let the lack of tragic back-story prevent him from avoiding normality.

His (deeply mysterious) past includes many social experiments, such as a bit part in which he acted as a pair of hands in a short film, three occasions where he officiated at wedding ceremonies, and a short-lived stint spent as a burlesque show narrator.
