Alicia Lane Dutton has a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and happens to be married to a Marine. She has worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Zoo Atlanta, is a certified paralegal and a certified histotechnologist. Other jobs include pageant coach, and high school drama teacher. She founded Albany's Junior Theatre where she was a director for seven years. In addition to her books "Going Home to Dixie", "Southern Sirens", and "Wedding Themed Comedic Monologues for Women", Alicia has also written "Southern Sirens, the play" and two musicals, "Dixie's High Point of Beauty" and "Wedding Belles".
