“The long distance hiker, a breed set apart,
From the likes of the usual pack.
He’ll shoulder his gear, be hittin’ the trail;
Long gone, long ‘fore he’ll be back.”
M.J. Eberhart

“A Pathway for those who seek fellowship with the Wilderness.”
M.J. Eberhart, Ten Million Steps: Nimblewill Nomad's Epic 10-Month Trek from the Florida Keys to Québec

“I’ve always heard that it’s better to give than to receive, but someone has to receive, and I’ve learned to do it.”
M.J. Eberhart, Ten Million Steps: Nimblewill Nomad's Epic 10-Month Trek from the Florida Keys to Québec
