Beta Readers for New Book
As many of you know, I was so disheartened about the poor sales of The Ugly Princess that I started writing a new book instead of working on its sequel. (I am still working on the sequel to TUP, and it is going to be amazing), but I've almost finished the new book, which is called: The Dog Show - Las Vegas. It's about a little dog who must win a Dog Show and its prize to save his shelter. It's funny, moves along quickly and I'll probably call it a middle-grade coming-of-age story even the one who is coming-of-age is a dog!
I think I'll be finished with the first draft in a couple of weeks and I'd like to see if any of you would like to be a beta reader for it.
Since it would be a first draft, I could still make dramatic changes to the manuscript based on comments I get from you. Please let me know if you're interested.

Hi Jennifer,I'm so glad to hear from you again. When I finish the manuscript, I'd like you to read it before I publish it to get your opinion of it. When I do publish it, I'll send you a signed copy. So, I'm hoping to finish by the end of the year. I'll keep you posted!

I for one was shocked to hear you had bad sales. I bought your book, read it ,loved it, and have been (impatiently) waiting for the sequel. Do not worry about sale, keep writing and the word will get out how awesome you are. People probably were just not aware of your book, but I will try and send out more reminders to my friends to read it. You rock! Jennifer
