The Mind Palace

To quote Juliette Mirovar.

“The mind palace relies on two interlocking factors. The fundamental mind palace discipline, and the use of the implant-laptop-Internet cloud to access massive data. The first is personal training and discipline, and the second is technology. The human-machine interface has a quirk. There is no way you can physically access the raw data and comprehend it. The technology creates a gestalt experience, essentially a vivid, lucid dream, where the information is presented in metaphorical imagery. A talented, and skilled loremaster can guide and interpret the dream to establish an augmented view of reality that approaches precognition.” - Juliette Mirovar, loremaster

Timelord Iain Is this in reference to the memorization technique?...

Graeme Rodaughan Absolutely. Originally sourced from the recent Sherlock Holmes TV show with Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role.

Just evolved, with the tech interface into a vast amount of data.

First mentioned in A Traitor's War and then more fully developed in The Dragon's Den.

Timelord Iain It's a little older than that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Method_...

Been trying to make time to read Traitor's War... main problem is these days 90% of my reading is audiobooks :( ... hopefully get to it soon... I picked it up on one of your sales over the summer, finally...
