conclusion to Black and White

Yesterday, I came to an agreement with Viking to write the conclusion of Black and White. Right now it will be called Marcus and Eddie. I'm very excited about it and it will be published in 2012. --PV

I can't wait. Last year, Black and White in addition to being a Reading Olympic book was chosen by a 12th grade English teacher as a book to read and do a research paper on...and this teacher said not only did her students love it, but they also did their research papers! In the past, when she used classics, they complained about the reading and many didn't do the papers---so kudos to these great books that grab teens. They will love a sequel to the story of Marcus and Eddie.
