Just a note about my reviews/ratings (since someone just asked me!): I read. A LOT. Like, several books a week. I wish I could write lovely, thoughtful reviews, but I'm a *terrible* review writer. It's simply a skill I don't possess, though I greatly admire and appreciate those who do!
You'll probably notice that most of the books I have on my shelf have 5-star ratings. That's because I (mostly) only rate books that I've enjoyed. So, five stars basically means that I liked it/recommend it.
Occasionally, I post little comments (which is where you'll see if I particularly *adored* a book and go all fan-girly on it) in the review section, but that's about it.
Anyway, in a nutshell: It's not that I simply love every book that I read, it's just that I don't rate a book I didn't enjoy. Five stars is my default rating for "this was an enjoyable read for me!"
