I know I'm not very good at keeping up with Goodreads in general or with this blog in particular. I apologize.
The last time I blogged, the Amish Series was a trilogy. It became a 5-book series, all 5-star books. I thank you for that.
Now I've ventured into historical fiction with Roza: The Runaway. It has been on the backburner of my mind for many years. It was not easy to write because it is based on the true fact that my mother, whose middle name was Rozella, ran away from home when she was 15, walked nine miles to Indiana, PA, and was helped by a stranger who directed her to the college campus where she was given a job as a maid/waitress.
In writing it, I wanted to honor my mother for the brave girl she was and for the strong woman she became despite many obstacles to overcome.
The book is well researched and set In Indiana County, PA. I hope you will read it and write a review. So far, the response has been very good.

I'm currently reading it, and am "not able to put it down!" Thanks for another great book!
