message 9: by i_like_agatha (new)

i_like_agatha Glenn Powell as Ben Richards is all thirteen of my reasons 😞

message 10: by Regina (new)

Regina Doherty Looks AMAZING!!

message 11: by Benjamin (new)

Benjamin The Long Walk looks better! Wow, it's about time that one made it to the big screen. Hopefully all the internal monologues hold up!

message 12: by Toni (new)

Toni I just read the Running Man AND I viewed the film with Arnold Swartzenager. It was AWFUL!!! It took the title and ran with it, no pun intended, and that was it! Hope the new movie follows more of the book!

message 13: by Sherri (new)

Sherri What a disappointment

message 14: by SJ (new)

SJ Can't be worse than the old movie lol

message 15: by Aleksei (new)

Aleksei Watched the movie with Arnold Scwarzenegger a lot as a child. The trailer of this movie didn't impress me at all.

message 16: by Maria (new)

Maria Yoka I hope this version is better than the older version which I thought was chessy and not scary at all. The book was way more intense. My opinion.

message 17: by Troy (new)

Troy Arndt But alas, I did not check it out that day

message 18: by Booklovin✮ (new)

Booklovin✮ Schwarzenegger starred in the last Running Man, this should be a good one! Great book! Very fitting in today's ... climate.

message 19: by Phylicia (new)

Phylicia I watched the trailer, I didn't expect it to be from Stephen's book. His books/movies are usually scary like or whatever. The Running Man doesn't seem scary. I guess I have to read the book and watch the movie to see.

message 20: by Grant F. Booth (new)

Grant F. Booth Dweezil is in the original movie. Does he make a comeback here?

message 21: by Toni (new)

Toni Doesn't look like Dweezil is in the new movie. But the original movie was horrible. Hope the remake is better. It sure did an unjustice to King's book!

message 22: by Grant F. Booth (new)

Grant F. Booth Totally agree, it was an injustice. I'm having high hopes for this one. Thank you for finding that out!

message 23: by Grant F. Booth (new)

Grant F. Booth I'm hoping Mr. King will make it back to North Carolina (Oak Island. specifically). We were so lucky to have him with us in Wilmington for the filming of "Under The Dome" . We all loved "Joyland", too. I'm approaching my 80th book read of Mr. King's. He just keeps getting better all the time!
