Big Giveaway at BookPage!

For my American readers:

My publishers, Sourcebooks, are sponsoring an amazing contest for me this month at BookPage!

One Grand Prize Winner will win a Scottish gift basket worth $750 containing a Tartan blanket, fine whiskey, Celtic jewelry, tea, shortbread, and all of my books that Sourcebooks has published/reissued so far: The Winter Sea, The Rose Garden, Shadowy Horses, Mariana, The Firebird, Splendour Falls, Season of Storms, AND the upcoming A Desperate Fortune.

Five Second Place Winners will receive a full set of those same books (without the gift bastket), and ten Third Place Winners will get 1 copy of A Desperate Fortune.

The contest isn't officially supposed to start until February 1st, but I've just been given the link to access the contest page and it's open for entries, so I thought it would be nice to give you, my readers, a bit of a head start on entering.

So here you go! Feel free to share with anyone you like.

Christi I could not get in through the link above. However when I went to homepage and through the contests tab I was able to enter. The link should be the following.

Kathleen Basi I have yet to read a book of yours I haven't loved. Love this contest!

Christi I couldn't have said it better! I have read everything she has written, including one I found under a pseudonym (Emma Cole). I tell everyone about them as well. Wonderful books, wonderful writer!

Sarah Are Canadians able to enter? I would LOVE to win this prize! Oh, nevermind, I just saw the beginning that says, "For my American readers..." So disappointing.

Susanna Kearsley Sarah, I know -- I'm Canadian, too :-) It's only that this particular contest is being hosted (and funded) by my American publishers, and they only have rights to sell their books in the States, so that's why they can't extend the contest to other countries. But I have no doubt that Simon & Schuster Canada will have equally fun things going on this spring to promote the Canadian publication of this book, and I'll be sure to keep everyone updated as soon as I learn of events/contests/etc.

message 7: by Benita (new)

Benita I can't wait for "A Desperate Fortune" to be published. While I was working at Barnes and Noble I sold a 100+ copies of "Winter Sea", I just wish I was still working there so I could promote your new book.

message 8: by Elaine (new)

Elaine Too bad I live in Brazil and can't participate on the contest... I too love your books, read The Winter Sea and The Firebird. Much success on the launch of your new book!!

message 9: by Angie (new)

Angie I have become a huge fan of yours -- I found The Winter Sea on goodreads -- found it and then went and bought every book of yours I could find -I have read just about all of them in the last year -- have my daughter hooked as well!! I think I need to read a couple more and I will have read them all.

message 10: by Kelly (new)

Kelly I have loved all your books and can't wait for the next one!!! Thanks for the opportunity to win!!
