But when top model Alysha Jones signed an exclusive contract with Lozier Cosmetics, her life became positively hazardous. Ross Elliot -- the man whose casual seduction she'd nearly fallen for years before -- was handling the new campaign!
Alysha was determined to fight her old attraction for him. Ross was a womanizer -- pure and simple -- a practised deceiver, and any relationship he was offering could only be one of short-term satisfaction and high risk to Alysha's heart!
I'm a Londoner, though now I live in Devon, a twenty-minute walk from the sea. I love nothing more than walking my pretty Cavapoo on the beach in the rain (well, OK, I don't object to the sun, but when it's raining we usually have the whole beach to ourselves.)
Back in the day I had 25 novels published by Mills&Boon. After a long gap doing other things I found my love of writing again, and self-published three new novels.
But I knew that to reach more readers I needed an established publisher. Step in Joffe Books. They were top of my list so I was delighted when they accepted the first novel I sent them.
This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
this was terrific! just loved it when the hero is so hot he wud actually melt in your mouth! i guess it's alysha who is the practised deceiver. she acted so much in the book, always doing her best to present a cool and indifferent facade, but failing lamely in bed !lol;p
2.5 Stars - I would give 1 or 0 stars for the H. The SOB of the H didn't even care if the the heroine die or live, he didn't even felt desire for her in most of the book, later on he just felt a mild lust for her. He didn't remember her in all this time, when she became famous, he didn't even go to meet her, until he wanted her in the exclusive contract. He never felt possessiveness towards her nor jealousy, in his mind she was just only a toy to be explored by him and other guys and for modeling. A really truly alpha that care wouldn't want the girl that he cared to do nude shootings to the whole world to see, and being photographed in front of dozens of people. He wanted to use and explore her body to ads and later for his pleasure, he knew she don't do nudes but still the prick bastard blackmailed her with old photographs. He only hired her because he wanted her naked so others can leer on her in my opinion. The SOB DIDN"t EVN CARE IF SHE HAD DIED ON THE SHOOTING. He knew she was afraid of the narrow rope and plank bridge, even then he pushed her to do it saying that was safe and he was annoyed and rude when she didn't want to go and the crew are also heartless about her fears. She almost died your SOB, if she had fell the crocodiles would eat her. He was a sadistic and had pleasure watching her walking on the narrow bridge. He only saved her because he didn't want to lose the money to start again the campaign with a new model and he was impatient when she didn't want him she wanted to be alone because of the horrors that she went through. Am I suppose to believe that he care for her? He didn't give a fig for her life, have no regards for her. You BASTARD SOB. He is one of the most heartless and awful Hs in HP. If were I, I would push the SOB in the bridge so he can die, I want him to bleed to death. How could Alysha love an egoistical lousy SOB that have no regards for her life. He said one true thing later that she was a little plaything for him, as wanton as he wish, if she had died on the bridge he soon would forget her and never be sorry that he brought her death, the only thing that he would care are the money lost if she died. Even if she died, I bet the SOB would use her photos for the campaign. What a cold, heartless BASTARDE PIG. The SOB said later that he regretted the affair with the OW in the past. Really? You stayed with the OW for 2 weeks in the past and now regretted, if so why not just ONS? All his past affairs are 2 weeks and the most longest 3 months and I bet he still bed the OW in this book.
I don't believe in dicing with danger... " But when top model Alysha Jones signed an exclusive contract with Lozier Cosmetics, her life became positively hazardous.
