About the Increasing incidences of suicide which has to reach the fourth leading cause of death due to underlying psychiatric condition. Approximately 90 % of the population has depression among who attempted or suicided. Foremost leading cause of suicide is depression and it favours the concept laying of fundamental or rational theory of suicide of non hospitalized population .The same will also apply to hospitalized patients who has poor prognosis, long recumbency and limitation of acquiring previous function i.e. disabilitating condition ultimately affect the thought process. Older has strong wish but young has more action that is why there is increasing incidence of suicide among youth. Certainly there may have certain plan of action and stages across which it reaches to completion. A strategy may be laid on this knowledge will like to reduce the incidence and prevalence of suicide as overall.
