Exquisitely written. I found it on a shelf while in a trance state in my late teens. I'm now ordering my third copy. Have used it often to enhance my professional astrology readings for clients and have been an astrologer since the age of 12. This is early cutting edge interdiscplinary work in transformational occult (not mystic though!) sciences at its best. Amazing content in terms of accuracy, depth and ability to spot-generate quickenings and open doors to transformation. A magical book beating back the great nothing of utopianism (capitalism). Would have been one of Prospero's books or Maquillades (sp? from Gabo's cent ans de solitude). Clears the fucking fog of the uranus/neptune long-term mutual reception that has only intensified the incredible fascist despot ass kissing by most Americans at a time when we need to be humbling ourselves intensely to worship nature, which means kicking the legs out from under the mf'ing despots at the tops of all hierarchies of hoarding. Wake up!

Out of all the Numerology books I own, this is my go-to for not only the in-depth number details, but also the method for which to draw deep details for people and their lives. Cannot recommend it enough.

A beautiful cover and a special book with lots of real content. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in the intersection of numerology and tarot. I read this book out of my love of tarot so my review is focused on this.

The tarot we know in North America and in England is the Golden Dawn lineage represented in the Smith-Waite Tarot (also known as Rider-Waite). Numerology is one of the esoteric correspondences in tarot, and like much of western esoterica, I get a lot more out of them when I see them in the tarot. Numerology and the Divine Triangle derives from the Pythagorean school, and the science of numbers that Pythagoras taught was based on Kabbalistic principles where "every number over 9 ultimately reduces to one of these digits. With a comprehensive knowledge of the meaning of these numbers, one can understand the orderly progression of all life cycles."

The personal numbers and personal years were exercises familiar to me through Mary K. Greer's Tarot for Your Self, a workbook that contained similar exercises. However, I did not read too deeply into chapter 4: God Geometrizes or Chapter 4: The Divine Triangle. I went right into Part II: Double-Digit Delineations to focus on the tarot.

I have a fair number of tarot resources that contain numerology sections, but I felt like I really had time to sit with tarot and numerology. In fact, it was this section that took me some time to parse through, and I expect myself to reviewing this work a fair amount of times. Although the esoteric meanings behind 1 to 9 should be familiar as they have become a bit rote, books like these add on, and I find that they are more of a resource to read than something to sit down and get lost in. I like this book for being a resource, and it is good to read, but keep in mind it is, for the most part, in this section, like reading the little white book that comes with your tarot deck. Albeit in a more lush language.

Some things that really got cemented in my brain:

1. The Minor Arcana are Ace to 10 for each suit but can also be counted to 78, so they actually reduce to different numbers. 2 of Cups, for example, is 43 which reduces down to 7! In some instances, this helped me to actually connect with the card's imagery.
2. This system counts the court cards first (King, Queen, Knight, Page, Ace...) which threw me off a little that Ace was right after Page.
3. Respect to numerology. I never thought of where numerology beliefs came from, but now see the lineage of Kabbalah in tarot, so that even though I do not always resonate with its iconography, I do connect with the numbers..
4. Also useful for decan study. I loved the appendix with its breakdown and the tarot decan chart. I find a lot of really confusing ones online with the smallest print but this was clearly laid out.

As someone with no background in numerology and the tarot I certainly learned a lot from this book.
Not only about numerology as a whole but about my past my present and even a little bit about my future.

The blueprints for interpreting your personal divine triangle require some time to getting used to but once you get the hang of it it's pretty straight forward. Although I was a little bit skeptical coming into this, it is to my surprise how accurate the readings of my past and present have been by the triangle, and it is truly a privilege to have access to this ancient knowledge.
The book is a very quick read and the guide is very straight forward, It made me sometimes wish there would be more substance regarding some of the topics that were being brought up, I assume that isn't really a problem for most people though as they probably already have some background in numerology, astrology and the tarot when reading this book.
I will further test it's accuracy on my close family and friends but I doubt that it will alter my judgement.

This is a good build from “The Complete Book of Numerology” by David A. Phillips which set the foundation of understanding the theory behind numerology and how to apply it. I read this mainly because I wanted to test two different ‘methods’ of numerology to see if they added up - a little personal experiment. And yes, despite using slightly different methods of coming to the same area of exploration, the interpretations came out to be similar! In fact, Dusty Bunker and Faith Javane’s book was much more in depth and complete and it was satisfying to see the direction they lead you in. I don’t know if it’s a good book for beginners to Numerology (I might recommend David A. Phillip’s book instead) but yes, a good and interesting read.

This book covered so much in depth and detailed information about how to read your personal numbers. I couldn’t put in down and the more I learned the more I wanted to know. It covers the 4 personal numbers and how to calculate them: the Soul number, the Outward Personality number, the Life Path number, and The Path of Destiny number. You also learn the meanings of letters and how to read and analyze your name. It teaches you how to create the divine triangle to get a complete picture of the experiences you may go through from the ages of 0-81. After that you can create a new triangle for ages 81-100 & counting. You also learn how to calculate your personal year number and period numbers for every 4 months of the year, basically a yearly overview of what to expect. You can even calculate on a monthly basis if you’re interested in what each month could bring. But the thing that made me excited to read this book is that they also include Tarot & Astrology meanings that are connected to each of the 78 numbers. So you get an even deeper insight into the numeric meanings. I definitely recommend this book if you’re interested in learning about Numerology! In my opinion this book should be a must have.

I found an old copy of this book in my neighbourhood's Little Free Library last night and took it home on a whim. It's like a math textbook but with far more interesting story problems. My favourite bit is that according to my career number, I could find professional success working as an astronaut, sales manager, public affairs leader, inspirational writer (does this review inspire you?), astrologist, teacher, electrician, or "space age electronics expert." Coincidentally, I'm at a career crossroads in my mid-40s, so perhaps it's time I give space travel a go. (No star rating until I see results.)

A very comprehensive look at not only numbers, but also the connection to the tarot. The processes take some sustained concentration and effort I admit, but once you have your numerology blueprint completed, you can see what number vibrations are active at this present time and your future. Very insightful and highly recommend investing the time in yourself to complete the blueprint.

The best esoteric and New Age books are the ones where 1) it's not necessary to believe in the author's personal philosophy to understand the content and 2) everything is thoroughly explained without relying too much on "woo-woo" or the author's own personal experiences. NUMEROLOGY AND THE DIVINE TRIANGLE excels in both regards.

What sets NUMEROLOGY... apart from other books in the New Age/occult sphere is the quality of writing. It manages to be both straightforward enough for beginners while engaging enough to keep an adept's interest in the material. The book establishes a very straightforward system, adequately explains each and every association within it, and incorporates tarot, the Bible, and astrology into it in a surprisingly comprehensive fashion. At the same time, it never feels like Bunker repeats themselves unless it's absolutely necessary-- it's surprising how few spiritual books that can be said about! The weakest material is actually the titular Divine Triangle; it's an interesting concept, but doesn't really feel completely thought out at heart. Furthermore, I would have liked to have seen a bit more exploration into the methodology behind assigning zodiac associations to every number.

I don't believe in Christianity, karma, or reincarnation, so I more or less read the book as a skeptic. It's been four years since buying my first copy, and I still find myself frequently referencing it or (re)calculating some of my own personal "vibrations" for one reason or another. The paperback has wide margins, which means there also is plenty of room to work out the numbers on the side if need be.

This book is fantastic in so many ways. Some of the parts of the book I love and refer to are the authors' descriptions of the different archetypes of the numbers, numbers in the Bible, and numbers in the tarot. These sections are all excellent and worth the price of the book on their own.

To me, the divine triangle is a great concept, but it is illogical. If I can't put it into practice for my own birth name, how would I use it for a client or teach it to anyone else? The goal of the divine triangle is to combine the birth date and the first (and middle) names of your birth name (not your family name) through sacred geometry. So, that concept is just fine, too. The idea of removing the family name to remove that layer of "karma" could make for an interesting twist, especially as people become more and more self-realized in the 21st century and beyond.

There's a huge hole in the logic to me, which makes the diagram useless--there's only room for about 9 letters on the diagram. All the examples in the book used either short names, or the person didn't have a middle name. This forced a "good fit" for their system.

For example, if I use the first and middle name from my birth certificate, I'm already at 14 characters. My Divine triangle reading would include my first name and about half of my middle name. It seems like any system that cannot accommodate all lengths of names isn't viable.

While I’m still working on my own Divine Triangle, following the suggested steps, I find this concept incredibly intriguing. The diagram and process gives you two views of your life, past, present and future. One view is on a wide perspective, while the other is of a more specific delineation. Is it accurate? I’m not sure yet, as I’m still going through the process.

But, there’s a whole section which reviews Edgar Cayce’s Divine Triangle and his life. There’s some very interesting information in this section alone.

The first forty-two page of the book covers similar topics of the last book reviewed, Numerology and Your Life by Dusty Bunker. It doesn’t go into as much detail, but the basics are there. Unlike the other book, this one includes separate interpretations four your four personal numbers, rather than the same interpretation, leaving it up to you do decipher accordingly.

For anyone interested in Numerology I see this book as a great manual. As such, there are many calculations so consider reading it as you study with a notebook by your side. I loved the way the authors go beyond Numerology itself relating it to Tarot and Astrology. The examples and how the numbers are related to one's life and how to make sense of the overall content and not only dropping numbers and what they mean is an amazing plus. Numerology, for me, goes beyond calculation and simply describes what the number meaning. You need to go deeper and understand how those numbers make sense with the life being analyzed while considering the past and even the future. And this book helps us understand that beautifully.

I read Numerology by Norman Shine first, and the contents of this book ring truer to what I expected foundationally in terms of the subject matter. The authors give cogent explanation of the number significances and processes, as well as a bit of historical perspective. The biblical significance of the numbers and the synthesis to tarot and astrology was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this over the other, however I'm still looking for one that explains more why than how.

Interesting subject. I'm always fascinated by this and astrology; the human belief in unexplained influences.
When trying to decide on our son's name we actually ran the ideas through to see if certain names had more favorable numerological significance.
Shortly after watching an interview of Ethan Hawke, we struck upon the very favorable name Ethan Steward Cain.
