As a former student who has taken physics from this textbook, i originally didnt like it. Mostly just because i didnt really, i mean really, try to read it and study it. I was wafting through class, a student who didnt immediately understand the material and therefore thought i was stupid. And so hated the subject.

Semesters passed and i still had a yearning to learn physics, and gave it another try. (I LOVE science and at the time, didnt know i LOVED physics). Was better the second time around, studying it more diligently. Did well in class.

After years of hard work mastering physics and falling deeply in love with the subject, i eventually taught physics. From this very book. Have come to greatly appreciate the wealth of information in this book. Most students just dont see it, because its a hard subject and they fall victim to feeling overwhelmed and hesitant. Just like i had many many years ago.
