After being denied a lifetime dream of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, my attention turned to the south of England and the majesty of the 630 mile South West Coast Path. This is my personal account from each day on the trail, beginning in Poole on a sweltering august afternoon and crossing the finishing line just 40 days later, on a rainy morning in Minehead. The sights, the sounds, the people, the experiences and the memories will be with me forever and I want to share my journey with you. We take the same steps, in the same direction, but each journey will tell a different story. This is mine....
