In Twilight breaking dawn Bella and Edward gets married. Bella then had to decide if she wants to be human or she wants to be a vampire. She decides to be a vampire. Her and Edward then go on their honeymoon. While they're on their honeymoon Bella gets pregnant. She was scared to tell her dad so she played it off as if they were visiting somewhere else. They were really at Edwards sister house. The baby was making Bella really weak. She was so weak that you could see her ribs popping out of her back. She would drink blood during her pregnancy to give to the baby. Finally she had the baby and moments after she had it, she died. Edward knew it was going to happen but he thought she would pull through. He tried to revive her hoping she would come back but she was already dead. There was nothing left Edward or anybody could do.

I like this book because it shows you real love. Not only real love but what real love makes you do. I would recommend this book to anybody who likes romantic and horror. If you do then this is the book for you.

This book was kind of what I expected - pretty pictures with some insight into the movie.

The pictures were great - especially ones that were from deleted scenes. I really wish they would have shown more during the pregnancy in the movie. The pictures between Bella, Rosalie, and a despondent Edward were intriguing.

I liked the latter half of the book better. Going behind the scenes on the birthing process earned a lot of respect from me. There were a few things that I was bothered by during the film - that didn't make sense - that suddenly do (for instance: why Jasper and Edward didn't fight well against the wolves - because they were so hungry). I give props to Bill Condon who clearly not only liked the books themselves, but enjoyed making them. More than any other director, I get the vibe that he really wanted to do right by the fans. As a fan, I appreciate that.

I would have preferred more interviews and quotes. Meyer's interview was short. I would have liked some insight into more of the cast, the director, and the experts in wardrobe. They made it clear that fashion was a huge deal for this film - why not an interview with those that helped with the wedding dress?

Sometimes you have to think would you be human and marry a vampire or be a vampire and marry another vampire.Well that's the situation Bella is in.As Bella was to get ready for her wedding Jacob her friend that was a wolf had met up with her.Bella had to choose if she wanted to be a warm blooded human or a cold blooded vampire she had a chance to have a baby but a good chance she could also die.

I think a connection between the book and another book would be twilight the first book because in both books Bella has to choose who to be with Edward or Jacob. Both books they have something the same that Bella has to do.

I would recommend this book to my friend Alysa because she loves vampires and has not seen the movie.Alysa would want to read the book and the book would make her want to see the movie even more.I would also recommend this book to my friend Rachel because she also loves vampires and wolves exept shes seen and read only the first second and third book and movie.

Full with beautiful photos, illustrations, information, interviews and details about how the story got transferred from the page to the big screen! It brought to me the exact same feelings that I had while I was reading the book and I was watching the movie for the first time. Twilight Saga is a book series that will stay in my heart forever, there is no doubt about that. If you are a fan of the books and the movies, this is a must have.

Great companion book to the movie, there are some excellent pictures in there, never before seen such as kristen stewart getting made up for her pregnancy scenes and showing her stand in which was a full sized doll of her looking terrible.
Interview with Stephenie Meyer is also in there along with, tid bits from directors, producers and other people.

C/TW: mention of a film with a rape storyline.

Call me a nerd, dork, or what you will...I love learning the behind the scenes stories that go along with filmmaking. Getting inside the actors’, production crew, and director’s heads always fascinated me. And I have Twilight to thank for it (mostly- this interest bloomed with these films and I appreciate them all more because of it).

Having liked the Kristen and Robert’s work prior to the franchise and others released during this period, I wanted to know more of how they grew through the process. Kristen, for one, has not shied away from realistic and painful acting - I first saw her as Melinda in the film adaption of Laurie Halse Anderson’s SPEAK. After watching the first film of this saga, I came back for her (and the other actors) more than the romance ... for the most part.

Review of the guide itself:

Grateful for: there wasn’t too much rehashing of the book or film plot, or it was more fluidly integrated in the discussion of the production.

What’s missing: more focus on the Quileutes as people. More Seth (Nils ‘Booboo’ Stewart) and Leah (Julia Jones) please!

Granted, I wish the author released a Part 2 companion as well, but these guides are ending on a high note I guess.

I loved this book! Before reading this, I saw Breaking Dawn in the theaters twice and when I went to see it for the third time with my mom, I found myself noticing special effects I learned from the book! I've collected all the other three movie companions and thoroughly enjoyed each one of them. It was interesting to learn how the makeup effects worked to make Bella look as gaunt and weak as she did in the movie when the baby was consuming all of Bella's essential nutrients. Props to everyone that contributed to making the movie a hit.

If you like romantic adventures mixed with the supernatural, then you should read the fourth novel of The Twilight Saga("Breaking Dawn part 1") written by Stephenie Meyer and narrated by Bella Swan and Jacob Black. This adventure will take you to another world and you will not want to leave there.
In my opinion, this book is really good and different from other books I have read. When you're reading, in your mind you create and live things that you wont live in reality, you can feel those things as natural, like if it was something you see everyday. You also, can feel like if you were there, or if you were the person who is living everything that is narrated in the book.I think that's what the author wants.I like the style in which the author wrote the novel because, you can feel every expression she wants to point out.You will feel the same way the characters do.The characters from this novel live as normal people with problems from other world and they think they can solve all their challenges.
The novel begins with the marriage of Bella Swan with Edward Cullen(vampire). During the honeymoon Bella realizes that she is pregnant, but her pregnancy is not normal. This brings serious consequences for Bella, and even though Edward doesn't want the baby to born, Bella wishes to have her no matter what would happens to her.
The second part of the book is narrated by Jacob Black with a lot of anger. He is in love with Bella and doesn't want the baby to be born because,he does not want to lose Bella.
Then i found out the surprise that Edward can hear the thoughts of his daughter and he notice something that made him change his mind about the birth of the baby. Then Jacob had an idea for Bella to support the baby and it were working until the night when the baby was born and the unexpected happened.
I think that the characters are really interesting and you should read the book. When you close your eyes you will not be walking in the real world, you will see a vampire and a wolf fighting for the life of a human. The ending left me shocked and I am anxious to read Breaking Dawn part 2.

Even more than the other two books, I just love the pictures! They are beautiful and well taken. The angles are good. Some of my favorites are: the wedding, while Bellas' pregnant and Edward and Carlisle are by her side, and the pictures showing how they made Bella look skinny and sickly. Really I just love them all!
I really enjoyed reading Stephenie Meyers' (the author) views on the movie and what it was like being a part of it all. I really hope she writes more for the Twilight Saga one day. I'd love to know what Bella and Edward do next. It'd be interesting to read about Jacob and Renesmee also.
It was interesting reading about how they did the wedding scene and the inspiration. The wedding shoes and dress were beautiful. The whole wedding was beautiful with all of the flowers and wood. It looked so natural.
The way they made Bella look sick, it looked so real in the movie. I don't always like how they do stuff like that in movies, but that was well done. And the gory birth scene, was well done as well.
I do have to say I wish it had been longer. The whole movie or movies cut way too much out. I know they couldn't put everything or else they'd be too long. It just sucks that a lot of my favorite scenes were cut out or else they cut out my favorite dialog.
Really I think I was the most disappointed with this last movie. Funny how the movie was so disappointing and yet the movie companion was the best out of them all. Weird how things work.
I hope you buy this book, that is if I haven't turned you off of these books. I hope I haven't. Just because I haven't doesn't mean you won't. After all I tend to like what others don't and the other way around. Happy reading!!!

This book is incredible, This first part of breaking dawn 1 is telling me that when Bella & Edward went on there honeymoon nobody knew that human female can conceive child of vampire . Bella did get pregnant the first very night & and the child was growing very fast, from what the story told me was the baby was half human and half vampire so the baby was taking the good heath from Bella and she started to get bony and losing her nutrition and her blood. She started drinking blood it helped a little but not a lot, she maybe got back 15% of her energy back. but the baby got stronger but Bella bones started to break because the baby was getting bigger and her back bone broke and sent her into labor. Eme,Carlisle were not at home and it the lobar was to far in so they had to do a c-section. soon as they got the bay out of Bella her heart stopped. Edward had some venom that he had been saving up for emergence. so Edward stuck it right her heart and that wasn't working and her bite her in her main arteries that wasn't working and Bella was presented as dead. a day later Bella woke up but there is something different about her.... shes a vampire now. so why i picked 5 stars because this was an incredible book and I would read this over and over.... what surprised me was that a human can have a vampire baby and Bella coming back alive as a vampire.... why I think that other people could read this see if they like romantic stuff and likes to watch drama its not exactly drama but its close.....what ca be better? really nothing its to good to be changed. I recommend you to read this.

Once again this is a great insight into the production of Breaking Dawn, it’s always fantastic to understand why certain decisions were made!

I especially loved finding out how they had very strict security when filming the wedding scene; with NDAs and a ban on electronics!! I couldn’t believe that a tabloid offered 1MIL for a picture of Bella’s wedding dress, for a fictional character I found that super insane!

For some reason there seemed to be much less text in this companion, with many more full page spread of pictures. This wasn’t really an issue I just found it interesting!

As a massive Kristen Stewart fan it’s wonderful to hear how spectacular the people she works with find her and her skills as an actress!

My main issue with this companion is that is only covers part 1, and the part 2 companion was never published. Considering some of the incredible scenes in part 2 such as Bella’s transformation into a vampire and the final battle scene it’s incredibly disappointing that there was never a companion covering this half of the film. I’m not sure who made the decision not to publish the part 2 companion but it was a ridiculously unprofessional decision and it’s unfortunate they decided to let down the fans so spectacularly.

When i saw this book at wal mart the other day, i knew i had to pick it up and sit on the garden swings they has displayed and read it. This book was the closest thing to the movie (since i had not seen the movie at that time. And it was AMAZING!!!! By far, the best twilight saga companion book ever! So basically, in this book, just like the other twilight companion books, they showed everything. From the wedding, to the honey moon, to the birth, even to the fight scene between the werewolves and vampires! As I was reading the book, i learnt that they dont actually use real werewolves, they use cut outs and then later on make it look like actual wolves on the computer. As i continued reading and looking at the pictures, I wondered how they filmed such a hard movie like this, cause at the end it ended up SO GOOD!!!!!!!! I cant wait for part 2!

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know how they director filmed the scenes of the twilight saga: breaking dawn part 1

I admit, I read this as a teenager and I thought it was the best book ever. But now, with a more mature mindset, I think it is not only a book with terrible writing, but it is a book that promotes abusive relationships. No, I'm not exaggerating.
Looking for a healthy relationship in this book is mission impossible. It romantices the idea of an abusive relationship in a way that is not even close to being ok.
Edward and his family control what she does, where she goes, who she is friends with, even what she wears and eats. By the end of the book, she has been separated from not only her friends, but also her family.
I mean, seriously, the book starts with the main character fantasizing with the idea of dieing.
I had bought the book when I was in highschool, and I didn't give it away because I didn't want that influence on someone else.
Really, don't read it or encourage anyone else to read it.

this book was about when this girl named Bella got married to a guy named Edward. Bella loved him and a other guy named Jacob. Jacob was really jealous when Bella got married because he loved her. they went on there honeymoon and one morning Bella woke up and ate bloody chicken and somehow got pergnect. so they left there honeymoon.

the theme on this book was when a vampire eats bloody chicken they get pergnect aparntly. a theme about this book is that vampires are not real. also that when they where gettign Bella ready she saw a bad picture about the wedding. Bella loved Edward and Edward loved her.

i loved reading this book and watching the movie they were both awesome. i cant wait to read another book like this one. i hope they are the same but the one thing i didnt like was that when Bella danced with Jacob after her wedding. i think they could have had them there to dance.

I always really enjoy the companions. The amount of work and thought on the movies amazes me and makes me want to watch the movies again. Honestly though sometimes it seems crazy how much money and effort goes into entertainment, but anyway.... It can be tricky getting through the technical pre-viz and construction parts but still I think it would a lot of fun to work behind the scenes.

In the case of Breaking Dawn, the story is in two movies that were filmed simultaneously, so many references are made to part 2. However, I don't feel that they gave anything away. There should be plenty to fill a fifth companion with the fight that isn't a fight, so many new vampire faces, Renesmee, etc.

*some spoilers for Twilight Saga ahead*

There's almost everything that you might want to know about Breaking Dawn: Part 1 movie, and even a few tidbits about Part 2, as they were filmed simultaneously. A lot of great photos, even more than in previous companions.

The only thing that I think would have been great if it were included in this book are some design sketches of Bella's wedding dress, maybe a few other costumes and also of Bella's comb. I also missed any mention of the wedding rings, who designed them and a more detailed picture.

This book was a romantic and filled with drama. This book is about a vampire(Edward) and a human(Bella) that have just gotten married and when they go to their honeymoon they get a surprise and there honeymoon ends quickly.
I really enjoyed this book because it had me on the edge of my seat the whole entire time. I believe that this book is for mature ages only because of the violence and detailed scenes in the book. I would defnitely recommend this book to teenagers all over the world, because they will enjoy it has much as I did.

The details given in this book were very intense. I've actually read every single book and seen every single movie. In the book they tell each person's story not leaving out a single thing, rather in the movie it leaves things out, not being very descriptive. I am team Jacob! I did not like how she left Jacob to get married to Edward and ended up having his kid. It was crazy how she survived the whole thing, part two to this whole story is even better and explains a lot more but i enjoyed this book very much.

TS Movie Companions are still fun to read. Beautiful pictures, interesting facts and additional stuff on production, thoughts of collaborators.
Still, what I miss the most: some short interviews (or longer ones) with cast about filming that wasn't asked already in the tons of interviews they already made.
That would have been great and a start of a nice good-bye for the Saga.
Perhaps in P2 movie companion :)

+ The make-up effects to make Kristen look sick were awesome and looked so realistic. The body puppet freaked me out because it looked exactly like her, but 30 pounds lighter with bones protruding everywhere! ah
+ I loved reading about the wedding and honeymoon!
- The sections about the wolves, filming, and fighting scenes seemed to be very similar to the other 3 movie companions...I am getting tired of reading the same thing!

This was really good. I particularly liked the interviews with the cast and Stephenie Meyer and there were some funny and interesting anecdotes about the wardrobe and the challenges with the weather. I also liked finding out how some of my favourite locations in the books were created for the movie.
Like with the other movie companions, I skimmed over the parts about the wolves because I just don't find that interesting at all.

this is a good romance novel that demonstrates that about every chapter. The author does a really good job with the fantasy characters that they have staring in this novel and their abilities. I like how even though the family is in human they still love and care for Bella. I also like how the brothers tease her how an older brother would do for a younger sister. I also like the competition between Edward and Jake. Especially after they change. Love them!

***SPOILER ALERT!!! DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE ALREADY READ THE BOOK!!!***

This was SO cool! It's amazing that they used a life-like Kristen Stewart dummy to film the unnatural fall before she gave birth. It's kind of funny that people were so eager to see Bella's wedding dress that a guy literally flew over the set during filming to dangle from a helicopter with a camera. Everyone jumped on top of poor Kristen to hide the dress from view.
