This groundbreaking self-help book reveals the secrets of manifesting health, happiness, and prosperity in your life--but not in a way you've experienced before. Blunt, outspoken, and brutally honest, Randy Gage shoots down the forces that hold you back and keep you dumb, sick, and broke, and shows you how to take action to get smart, healthy, and rich.
Randy Gage has been called “the Millionaire Messiah” because he believes that you are meant to be rich, and it is a sin to be poor! Through his prosperity workshops, books and CDs, he travels the world teaching that health, happiness, and wealth are possible for all who desire it. Randy reveals how to harness the power of thought and intention to manifest success in all areas of your life.
Gage's book is a quick and thoughtful read. He breaks down the idea of creating prosperity that so many other books describe by using himself as the example of moving from lack to succes. One great thing about this book is that he is realistic about what type of training and time people would need to invest to create a passive stream of income. This is outlined and categorized in a helpful way. You may get offended by his Libertarian mode of thinking (which I recognized before he called it what it is), however, he is asking his readers to challenge their own thinking about life as presented to them by your parents, religion, and the government.
The only thing I wish there were more information on is the idea of prosperity and physical health. Again, his example of himself and a gunshot wound was fascinating, but it doesn't provide a lot on how to fix this. That said, there are tons of he's Th and diet books on the market!
It's a good read to get started on being positive in all parts of your life. Recommended.
this book is really is well worth reading. It will open your eyes to how your own beliefs and likes have been wrongly programmed into you and all this is attracting bad things and people are sabotaging and sacrificing themselves in order to stay true to stupid beliefs. I use to think that I shoyld not watch the news because it feeds negative views of the world to me and that I was some how better off for not watching it but through this book I saw that everything from popular movies, music, books, politics, religion, friends instill stupid beliefs in people that end in un-happy lives. this book does not hold anything back Randy has a point to make and he makes it he went through hell and he gained an amazing understanding of things you have to read this book you do not have to agree with everything he says I don't, but the way it will open your mind is priceless
This book is certainly an eye-opener. Unless you are already rich and prosperous, you will find something in this book that will be of value.
This is the type of material that needs to be seen and read by everyone. At least, you will get exposed to a totally different view of the real world.
It might shock you awake from the life-long programming you receive from the media, government and religions. Randy's ranting is positive in tone and concise
O carte care încearcă să răspundă la întrebarea de ce ești prost, bolnav și sărac... noi avem o vorbă populară care spune: De ce ești prost? Pentru că ești sărac! De ce ești sărac? Pentru că ești prost! Interdependență între prostie sărăcie și boală există fără doar și poate. Ei, și cauza pe care ne-o pune în față autorul este... modul în care gândim sau anumite scheme logice, numite - „mem” - un fel de virusuri ale rațiunii. Acestea sunt asumate de om prin influențe și mai ales prin mass-media și alte surse care îți creează un mod de gândire al jertfei: trebuie să fii sărac, ca să arăți asemeni unui erou, trebuie să fii bolnav ca să ai parte de compătimire, oamenii bogați sunt răi și zgărciți... Totuși după părerea mea, sunt „scheme mentale” bune și rele... îndemnul autorului se include în cheia gândirii critice, adică să gândim critic orice afirmație și să vedem are ea un suport logic sau este bazată pe sentimente. Autorul spune că religia este și ea un creator de „scheme mentale” negative, spunând că ești păcătos, că trebuie să fii sărac etc. eu aș privi altfel lucrurile și spun că religia spune: trebuie să ajungi sfânt, trebuie să fii bogat, Dumnezeu te-a creat într-un mod minunat și unic. Asemenea autorul vorbește și despre alimentația nesănătoasă și despre efectele negative ale guvernului asupra „economiei liberale”. Sunt propuse și 9 legi ale succesului, după care lucrează Universul: Legea pustietății, care spune dacă nu vei avea nimic, Universul va umble acel gol cu ceea ce îți dorești, Legea circulației - dacă oferi se întoarce înapoi, Legea imaginației - trebuie să-ți imaginezi ce-ți dorești și să-ți creezi un Plan de Atragere a Succesului (PAS) :) Legea ideii - puterea gândului, Legea efectului - totul are o cauză, și singur ești cel care crează ceea ce se întâmplă în viața ta. Legea zeciuala - să dai zece procente izvorului tău sufletesc, lege biblică, Legea iertării - dacă ieriți, eliberezi emoțiile negative din viața ta. Apropo sunt propuse trei scheme financiare: afaceri imobiliare, afaceri în domeniul informațional și afaceri MLM. Scopul vieții: ? Filosofia vieții: valorile personale + principii personale + scopuri personale;
„Pentru a fi fericit, trebuie în primul rând să ai un scop, să ți-o imaginezi clar, cu perseverență să lucrezi asupra ei, chiar și atunci când nu este în favoarea ta...” „Însemnătatea inițială, din aramaică a cuvântului „păcat” este a nu atinge scopul...”
Excellent - while I don't agree with everything Randy suggests - I love that he challenges you to think outside of your box and your memes and think of things through a different lens. This is on my lists as a definite re-reread and will be purchasing this in book form as well!
"Your prosperity is not tied to the economy, your job, your education, your boss, or your past. It is here, now for you to manifest as YOU choose to." Randy Gage
Now, I'm into self help and prosperity and all that, but this guys sets a new standard. I'm lucky enough to call him a friend, but let me tell you, he tells it to you straight and with both barrels. If you are SERIOUS about making changes to your life, this books is a must.
A fantastic book! One of the greatest minds of the personal development and success scene, Randy Gage writes about everything that causes impact on your life and what makes us poor, sick and broke. He invite us for a reflection about the food we eat nowadays, the style of work, the media and the mind virus (memes)and the negative programming we are exposed every day from these sources.
Let's say I gave it 2 stars because of two or three interesting ideas. But all are superficial with no in-depth philosophy supporting them. More to say, accesses the most superficial and "touchable" views upon a good life, a road to a good life. And nothing more.
...why didn't I read this sooner. It's one of those books, everyone should read at least once [if you don't want to stay a narrow-minded, broke looser] An eye opener for the idea of prosperity! I fully get the idea why Randy Gage is called a messiah of the business world.
Revolutionized the way I think about being rich and how becoming rich changes the world for the better. Should be required reading for anyone who wants to be an entrepreneur or better their life.
Bold... make you to question your core belief as the foundation of your life! Must read book, if you're really want to have a success mindset but petrified of "something".
Eye opening, really. I appreciate his efforts. He has made a fine tool for those who wish to start thinking and get on the prosperity track. Just my opinion. It gives you an idea of how brainwashed the normal guys are. I definitely liked the meme part. I'm included - some of the insights really made me uncomfortable and it took time and effort to see it from his perspective and at least try to grasp what he's trying to say. It's well written, don't get me wrong. The guy has a way with words. It's just a bit too much for the mediocre middle class guy. For instance: Selfishness. If you think it's a bad thing (which 97% of us think) you must read this book! It will give you some pretty nice arguments why you're wrong. I believe Gage is right. It's the same thing Jim Rohn says in his seminars, but here it's in depth, a bit better said. (In a plain you put on your oxygen mask first and then if you have a child you put him/her his/her mask on. You don't put his/her mask on and then choke to death in front of him/her because it can't put your mask on ) It's a starting point...he gives some directions and he definitely doesn't want you to believe everything he says. Not, at least, until you've proven it right for yourself (by research and experience). This book is definitely not written so that you can "move from one imprisoning mindset to another" (Gage's words) He gives examples from his own life. Being shot just because he wanted to play hero...he explains how you on your own make your future/destiny. I liked the laws of the universe he has written about. Tithing - giving a 10th of what you get back to the source/universe. The story of his own experience with it is really worth reading. I also liked the story of the Island...although it really explains some things...and shows how Fd up the current system is. well, I guess it's up to us to make it live our best by it and make it better. anyways, the book was worth my attention. Thank you, Randy Gage

I must admit the headline of this book was a bit annoying, but then again, maybe that's the reason I was willing to give it a shot, because I lent it from the library as a random pick. Like a blind date with a book and after reading it I would like to continue this newly discovered relationship, so a successful finding I'd say. Very straightforward and simple ideas, but I liked it nevertheless.
Kiirelt loetav.
Very interesting viewpoints about the negative deep-rooted beliefs in our society.. especially what the mainstream movies and media are unconsciously feeding to us. The harsh truth is thrown to your face.
Despite it is written about how to be rich chapter 7 is really reminds me a spiritual approach to any so-called problem. It is similar as explained in a book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" written by Mary Baker Eddy in 1875. Have an inspired reading.
