I can't believe they made it to Mount Everest 😂
Nellie is becoming more suspicious. But I don't think she's bad, though 🤔

Suspense, mystery and murderous families. What makes for a more compelling story?

This couldn't have been a more compelling and sitting-at-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of finale. Hats off to Gordon Korman!

There were so many things revealed just in this last book, and the characters evolving- Oh my god, it seems like we see all the children involved in The Hunt growing up just in the last book alone. And the final mystery, it opens up the doors to so much more adventure.

Just when we think they're done, they've brought the family back together and fulfilled Olivia and Madeleine Cahill's mission, they have to go on knowing there's a whole other craziness just around the corner and they don't know when it's going to surface.

At least they will solve it, together.

The Emperor’s Code by Gordon Korman
Eight in the series

The Emperor's Code by Gordon Korman eight in the series this book is about three kids Nellie, Amy, and Dan are on a journey to find the emperor’s code the Emperor’s code is important because if it gets in the wrong hand the world could come to an end.

I walked into the library looking for a book then I saw this book and checked it out and started to read. I found out they encounter with dangerous things and they are trying to get information about the emperor’s code to solve a mystery they find clues throughout the book.

In my opinion, I think this book was magnificent because it gave lots of details and dialogue i love delightful detail and dialogue inside of a book and this book had a lot of wonderful detail.

I would recommend this book to people who like adventurous and who like mysteries and clues throughout the story because I know that I love stories that have all of that in it.

Uşaqlar Çindədir. Kitabın ən böyük +u tarixi maraq yaratmaqlarıdır. Əsəri yarımçıq qoyub 2-3 gün Çin tarixi barədə araşdırmalar oxumuşam. Oxuduqlarımdan sonra da kitaba qayıdanda necə gopa basdıqlarını görüb biraz ağız burun əyməmək əlimdə olmur. Bu hissə biraz ailədən başqa adama heç nə qalmır, valideynləri özümüz seçmirik çalarları da qatıblar.

Today i will be reviewing the great 39 Clues Series Book 8.

Summary...
In Amy and Dans Journey they have their Au-Pa Nelly help them along the way. As they Journey through they find the difference between trusting in someone or hoping in someone like when Dan teamed up with their rival Jonah Wizard when he and his sister get mad and search for clues on their own, but Dan finds out soon enough that people can't be trusted when Jonah turnes on Dan but realizes it a mistake...
(Pg 129 "You were supposed to be my decoy. If the guards spot us, I throw you to the sharks and bounce" Korman).

Also They prove that just becaus there ancestors were mean doesn't mean they are.
(Pg 183 "We don't have to be evil just because we're Madrigals. Madrigls are horrible-but we can change our destiny" Korman).

I can tell that in this book Good vs Evil pops up, destiny, and heart change. also the main Charecters are Dan, Amy, Jonah, Nelly, and Brodrick(Jonah's Father).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Qualifications...
Gordan Korman in no way has few qualifications, this stunning author has wrote other best sellers like Swindle, Zoobreak' Framed, and Show Off in the series with Griffin Bing (The man with a plan)as he journeys finding many freinds and enemies along the wayto guide him through his tough life.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Purpose and Success...
Gordan Korman wrote this book because he loves entertaining teens and making them actually want to read books and he wants to help other authors complete this unforgetable series that kids will never forget.

So overall i think that this book has many details, plots, and even having the Sidekick people not the main hero/s to be the Dynamic charecters in these book other than some of the word choice like
(Pg 182 "Amy had no more breath" Korman). just to make it more snazzy for readers but other than that, i'd give it a perfect 5!

This is my 11 year old son's rating. He loves these books!

I haven't rated any of those books so far, because I honestly don't know what to say. I listen to them because my son enjoys them, but as much as I love middle-grade books, these just don't do much for me. (I do, however, really like Gordon Korman.)

AS ALWAYS...THE BOOK IS TOTALLY AWESOME! AS IN, TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL!

DAN!!!!! IS HE KIDNAPPED OR WENT OFF ON HIS OWN WILL? WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM?!?
NELLIE. She's a very very confusing character. On the first 7 books, it made you doubt her and then the doubt turned into trust again. Here, she admits it herself! IS SHE A FRIED OR A FOE??? (better check out the friendsorfoe.com for that. LOL)
AMY! What is she thinking?!? Really? WHY did she ever thought about her parents that way just because she's a Madrigal.

I GO FOR DAN!!!

Here, obviously, it's in China! And what is the most famous in China? The Great Wall , of course! And they are there. Well, not the three of them together since DAN is kinda missing. But he's there alright. WITH WHO, you ask? READ IT :P

And then, guess where they headed next after the Great Wall??? HO-HO. "It's where the Earth meats the sky."
I've guessed what that meant. It's OBVIOUS. but not specifically, though. So, I'm half right. :)
AND I WON'T TELL YOU :P unless of course you've read this already...but you have to prove first if you really have read it! It will be a remake of the 39 clues :) LOL.

anyway...let's continue with the 9th book! :D

I'm slowly working my way through this series and while I enjoy the exciting adventures and thrilling dangers of the very convoluted plot, I'm not sure I have the endurance to make it through the five additional spin-off series that follow.

This story takes the siblings and their au pair to China and the Forbidden City. They must also manage the knowledge of their own ties to a formidable clan who was notorious in the search for the myriad ingredients.

Overall, it's a fun, fast read and certainly worth killing a few hours while doing chores around the house.

interesting quotes (page numbers from edition with ISBN13 ):

"In our family, you don’t get a childhood. We’re too busy trying to dominate the world." (p. )

Dan has been kidnaped by the Kabras! They try to get infermation about the clue in China but get none at all, so they dump him at a lolipop factory. The reason Dan isnt with Amy is becasue they got mad at each other ( Amy was talking rudly about their parents). Since they have found out they were Madgrgals they have changed alot.... I think so far that this book has been very boring and almost no adventure at all. Even though the writer puts a picture in my mind its not one thats very exicting.. Still I wonder... Are Amy and Dan are going to win the clue hunt in china?

This book was exciting! I really like the whole series. The cards are fun to collect too. :)

The only reason I gave it 4 Stars is because of the inappropriate words mentioned in the book. I just covered them up and continued on.

I enjoyed it, and can’t wait to finish the series!

This book was mainly that sometimes the reward is worth the risk. In this book and series the reward is nothing short of the chance of world domination, the reward making you the most powerful person in the world. In this book they are in china, tracing down members of the Qing dynasty and their Cahill heritage. Dan gets separated and has to find his way back to Amy and Nellie, while avoiding certain members of the family and the social services. They go through many dangers and as usual dodge death many times. But they still stay in the hunt, showing time and time again that they think the rewards of the hunt are worth the risks for them.

I almost feel bad for some of my lower ratings in some of the earlier installments in the series, because this just continues the trend of impressing me and thrilling me through the whole read through. The setting of China specifically the forbidden city and also Mt. Everest was so gorgeous to picture and finally getting some temporary riffs and separation for the two Cahill kids was just the mix up this franchise needed and literally after putting this down I immediately went to the library to score a copy of the next book.

In my opinion one of the best books of the series so far.
Breaking apart Dan and Amy gave this whole thing another kick and getting to know THE WIZ was very entertaining. The whole dynamic and vibe was just different.
Of course the whole plot was absolutely absurd ( the monks, the Mount Everest, everything else) but at this point, I think, we all should finally admit that we are not reading this series for it’s accurate depiction of treasure hunting. So on to the next !

Ez a rész most jobban tetszett.

After the bit of a cop-out ending of the previous book, we finally get to see the fallout of Dan and Amy's Cahill branch revelation. And it's...pretty angsty, for no real reason, so far. They're convinced that, as Madrigals, they're some sort of monsters. And, just when they really need each other the most, they're split up, Amy and Nellie together, and Dan alone in Shanghai.

Until he runs into Jonah Wizard.

Every few books seems to focus on humanizing a Cahill member, and this time we see Jonah and his non-Cahill father in more detail. It's actually pretty interesting, and pretty relevant to me, from having watched parents of other musical performers push their kids to what seems a dangerous degree in their performances.

The history of the Cahill family continues getting more ridiculous, this time claiming the last Chinese Dynasty was part of a Cahill branch. Which...really? Really? We're going a bit far, at this point.

Still, for kids, it will be enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to getting down to the bottom of the 39 Clues mystery in the last three books of the original series.

It was about average for the series, better than a few but not one of the most amazing. I enjoyed the way this book used history, weaving it into the story more than lecturing. There were just a few too many coincidences, even based on the scale of this juvenile/YA series. I was especially annoyed by the way Dan found a clue at the beginning, it was just too too easy. Also, some of the language was just not how kids think or speak; at one point Dan muses about the unstoppable juggernaut that killed both of his parents. I know he's smart, but the whole paragraph was out of an adult novel. Overall, the mystery and emotional content were good. And as usual, it left me excited to read the next book. We're getting close to the end!

39 Clues Emperor's Code is about two siblings named Amy and Dan. Their house just burnt down in Africa and it killed their parents. But Amt has come to the conclusion it was sabitash. So they go the China to find the 39 clues but one tiny problem gets in their way. Dan gets kidnapped and this is the first time these two siblings are separated. Amy is trying to figure out if she should keep looking for the clues or look for Dan.
I rate this book 4 out of 5. I recommend this book to anybody who likes mystery books and the 39 clues series. It has great suspense and foreshadowing. My favorite part is when Dan gets kidnapped because it leads to a lot of suspense and it ties the book together to make more sense.

The Cahill family hits China for the next clue in the worldwide hunt, encountering the famous terracotta warriors. A rift between the siblings ensues and secrets spill out. The Cahills won't ever be the same after realizing a new discovery about what the 39 Clues signify.

Not to give away one of the big landmarks in the story, but I absolutely loved the adventure Amy and Dan had after leaving China. (For those of you who have read it >>> The mini-adventure makes me excited to read Korman's trilogy on the same topic, because he seems so knowledgeable of the facts.)

Definitely a favorite of mine from this series.
