Since I am starting "Dream Experience Series" which is teleclass until we can operate in-person presentations, I wanted to review this book.
It explains how to start and be equipped for presentations, speaking and seminars. It also gave examples how to set up and run seminars and training workshops. How to find trainees and trainers. I was able to find the highlighted information that was needed and skimmed through the book and taking notes for what is important for my future events. Some of the book gave massive stories or scenarios that I skipped or browsed through. There were also some things I considered to have a successful presentations whether online, teleseminars, hosting BTR, webcasts, and presentations (in person).
Before I taught my first class, I was looking for books about how to do it well. This is the closest thing I could find to anything about teaching college classes. It is awesome. It taught me a lot of great stuff that was immensely useful and made me a much better teacher than I ever would have been on my own. I'm almost tempted to put it on "life-changers," it was that good.
Great Read, gives practical tips to run workshops and training. Much of stuff is interesting but the book being published more than a decade ago, makes some content irrelevant like use of slides, projectors, etc. Rest good work!
A very good book if you`re interested in trainings and coaching. It gives a lot of insights what really happens in the people`s mind who attend classes and what can be done to perfect your skills.
I read an older version that I got at the public library, so some of the references were a bit old (overhead projectors, pay phones!) but many of the ideas were still good.
