About the author

Stuart Hall was an influential Jamaican-born British sociologist and cultural theorist. He was Professor of Sociology at the Open University, the founding editor of New Left Review, and Director of the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies at the University of Birmingham.

I didn't actually read this book, but the book i did read is not on GoodReads. This was the thing nearest in the search being that it contains two words the same. Sorry to the mysterious author, 'Hall', for that. But if I don't log this my stats will be fucked.

Final volume of work for an Open University course.

I probably only read about three quarters of this book. It was really basic but added to my understanding of from where theories of modernity come.
