Very good story... until the end. I was pretty wrapped up in it, had to skim the pilot stuff a bit, but it was good reading.

But the end came and I was surprised... like... "that's it?"

Oh well. Definitely worth the read.

Nice little tale, well-told. The stakes keep getting higher as we read along, and the writing is easy on the eyes.
