It was a decent book overall. But there should have been more systems mentioned, and prototypes should not have been beacause they were not relesed.

Indeed a bit bit dated. I understand the lack of console game prices, as they are often fluctuating. As for the writing about the time-line history of video games, I am unsure there is much better out there, at least not this conscise. Could easily coem out with another addition, as it is a popular out-of-print book and needs updating.
