Fretboard Logic: The Reasoning Behind the Guitar's Unique Tuning

Rate this book
Volume I of the series precisely explains the pattern organization of the guitar's fretboard which results from the instrument's unique tuning. All music played on the guitar, in a sense, gets filtered through the fretboard matrix of strings and frets, so it is essential to have an understanding of how the playing area of the instrument works. It is the one area which will be common to all the others you will learn. Fretboard Logic teaches it both as a completely separate area of musical education and as a prerequisite for more advanced learning.

Great Guitar Book, covers 3 main topics Chords, Scales , Lead Patterns all referring back to the CAGED System, very clear and understanding book , Only problem with this book would be the Lead Patterns could be more clearer and go into more detail in regards to the CAGED system.

I am giving this five stars because it taught my husband how to play the guitar. Since I learned to read music, the theory confused me. I enjoyed reading it and maybe later it will kick in.
