Nice book about web development and the usage of resources of a website. I think it's something not everyone thinks about when visiting websites. Websites use real world resources, and poorly created websites use more resources than they should. This book brought this topic front and center for me, as I had not thought about the internets impact on the real world.
I deal with web design and digital graphics and Michael's book was a wonderful discovery. Sustainability is a priority for me and bringing it into my work has been a wonderful thing. The book explains all the various aspects of the sustainable web. Recommended for those who want to design digital products in a different way and for the benefit of the planet.
A good starting point on how to build greener websites. Reducing even small amounts of code can have a big impact. Some good advice from Michael on things to take into consideration - a very helpful book
Great book! Written in a fairly simple language, and at the same time conveying a lot of knowledge. If you are interested in topics such as sustainable web design or web technology in the context of the climate crisis, this is a must read.
