The suspense continues for the coalition and their mission to stop AMPS. In this next installment, we explore Poseidon (Kai) and Oleander’s story. I remember a scene from Ares’s book, and I wasn’t so sure I was going to like O. By the end of this book, Heather Slade will have you loving her and her character arc. Kai and O’s story will have you devastated, angry, happy, and so many more emotions. Kai is the perfect amount of alpha and swoon. He’s also the right amount of passion and patience to battle O’s inner demons. More puzzle pieces will be discovered and another initial is revealed from AMPS. You will not want to put this book down and the action will have you in the edge of your seat! I can’t wait for the next installment!

OMIGOSH! This is my favorite of Heather Slade’s books yet. But I think I say that about all of them. What I really liked about this book is how strong, intelligent and gorgeous both the characters are. They were not afraid to state the truth, they gave each other the space they needed when it was needed. The story flowed and moved quickly, not sure I am a fan of Oleander’s boss Typhon but something tells me we haven’t heard the last of him! Fantastic book and an equally fantastic series! Great job Ms. Slade!

Speechless!! Name: Poseidon is my new favorite Heather Slade story. Poseidon and Oleander's story is the perfect mix of suspense, excitement, and romance. From page 1 until the very end, I was on the edge of my seat - unable and unwilling to put the book down.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest and voluntary review.
This book is part of an ongoing series, but can be read as a standalone book. What I find really cool, is a lot of Heather Slade's books take place simultaneously, but in different points of views. The beginning of this book you get alternating point of views regarding events that occurred in previous books, and how that has effected Poseidon or Oleander in one form or another regarding their mission.
These two characters come to a head and are assigned to the task force to rescue Bexli, a very close friend to Caymen which was the previous book. Now the reader experiences those events through someone else's eyes. That leads these two off onto their own adventure to a HEA.
We learn these two had a history back at the Royal Military Academy, where Oleander flat out walked away one night with out a word. She had her reasons, but she wasn't willing to share them and spent the better part of the next six years avoiding Poseidon.
I knew in some ways this book was going to be an uphill battle for me as I didn't really like Oleander in the previous books. I will say that she won me over by the end, and that prickliness that I didn't like was there for a reason, which one finds out in this book.
This book is everything you've come to expect and Love about Heather Slade, Alpha males, and equally as strong females to tame them, all on a face paced page turning ride. One just wants to sit down read straight to the end, but *sigh* life doesn't always allow that.

Poseidon melts the Ice Queen!
Oleander is a skilled assassin who is on a personal mission of vengeance. The only way she can keep her focus is to keep all her emotions locked away, no matter what the cost. She left Poseidon six years ago in order to keep her secrets, but now that she's so close to accomplishing her goal she finds out she has to work alongside Poseidon and his team as they target the same international human trafficking operation.
I adored Poseidon from the start: his intensity, his compassion, his never-wavering devotion and commitment to Oleander, and most of all his patience and restraint as he allows her to open up little by little as she is able to. Oleander is one of this author's most fascinating heroines, as she struggles to maintain her control as the only means she has of coping with the trauma of her past.
The events of this book are seamlessly woven with those of this author's previous books as the timelines overlap and the various operations are seen from a new perspective. I'm constantly amazed at how the author can keep all the myriad of moving parts perfectly balanced and with such intricate detail.
I'll admit, I was astonished at the surprise twist at the end - I honestly did not see that maneuver coming. It was an intense conclusion that wrapped up a lot of loose ends while still leaving plenty on the table for the next book in this fascinating series.
Poseidon and Oleander get a very satisfying HEA and I am already invested in Zep and Verity's banter-filled frenemyship. If you love romantic suspense with a solid dose of justice, you need to read this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Kai “Poseidon” Allora and Jennifer "Oleander" Smith have a history that goes back to their Military Academy days. The last time Poseidon saw her was six years ago, but he hasn't forgotten her. Now they would both be working with the UN coalition to bring a halt to AMPS, the organization they believe is behind a good portion of human trafficking.
Oleander had met with Nemesis on her yacht along with Wren, Wilder, Cayman, and Puck. She has been tracking Mithras for quite a while and is sure he isn't the one who killed the lorry owner Mitskovski. She gives Nemesis that information but refuses to give anything on Mithras. She's worked too long and hard on this case to share just yet. She's also not looking forward to seeing Poseidon, unsure of what his reaction will be to her.
We get to see that meeting in context with the operation to rescue Bexli. Which we will see from Poseidon and Oleander's POV in this book.
It seems the closer Poseidon gets the further Oleander retreats, or rather avoids. That is until she can't and all the memories flood back.
While the main goal here is taking down AMPS and all the players within it, the attraction between Poseidon and Oleander is undeniable. Yet Oleander is keeping something back, not only from Poseidon but also her boss, Typhon Marras. I found it quite interesting when Kai meets Typhon, definitely a touch of jealousy there.
There is plenty of action, intrigue and suspense along with the rekindling of Poseidon and Oleander's relationship in this book and plenty of surprises as well.
I really can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Oleander has avoided any intelligence mission with Poseidon for as long as she can. She will need to hold her secrets deep to keep him at arm’s length.
These two passionate people will struggle with their feelings and past while tracking AMPS the infamous sex trafficking ring. Will they be able to finally catch the head of this snake and cut it off for good. Will Poseidon and Oleander be able to find a way to be together.
This was a fast-paced whirlwind story that I have come to love from Heather Slade. These two are another couple to add to the ranks. I can’t wait for the next couple coming. So many cliff hangers here for other book options. Can’t wait.

Little does anyone know she’s been living her life for revenge her whole life to take this ring down. So, now they are re-united. Poseidon has loved her since then. Their story is an emotional rollercoaster, as is their job. There is almost non-stop action throughout this story on both counts. I was in anticipation of every word and every page of this book. And of course, the end of this book leaves you hanging until the next one. So looking forward to what’s next.

Code Name Poseidon is the 3rd book in this gripping romantic suspense series and as in previous books, the romance between Poseidon and Oleander stands on its own and is an emotional rollercoaster in its own right. Some of the action takes place concurrently with previous books and also crosses over with the Wicked Winemakers series, before adding new pieces to the puzzle. I would therefore strongly recommed reading Heather's books in the order they are published to undertand all the references and characters. An entertaining and fast-paced read, Code Name Poseidon kept my eyes glued to the pages and my heart pounding from start to finish. Can't wait for the next developments!

I can't even begin to describe how much I loved this book. It is a critical read in the series of course. Absolutely loved the recap of items in the past but now it's from Oleander and Poseidon's views. Absolutely love Oleander and her kick a$$ personality and take no crap from anyone attitude. Yet Poseidon is able to final bring a soft side to her after continuing to be by her side no matter what. These two characters have been circling around each other and outside the teams in the past. It was so great to bring them into the fold and learn about their histories. We also now have some answers to the large human trafficking case but Heather Slade our beloved author has left us hanging in so many other ways. Can't wait for the next book to provide much more needed information.

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Code Name Poseidon . I really enjoyed reading this Suspenseful story . This is another great story in the KI9 Intelligence Team One series . Kai Allora (Poseidon) and Jennifer Smith ( Oleander ) met when they attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst . They were lovers till Oleander left his bed and Sandhurst and he hasn't heard from her in six years . Oleander has deep buried secrets . She now works for unit 23 as an assassin . They come face to face when she's requested to help on United Nations coalition against human trafficking . As they work together feelings and secrets come to the forefront as does danger . This story is outstanding and intriguing and action packed . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Heather Slade is a sneaky, cheeky author who pulls you into this world of espionage and human trafficking and then carries you through twists and turns until you don't know which way is up. And I loved it!
My only negative comment is this. There are a lot of characters and references made to other characters and events. I have read all of Ms. Slade's books and even I had difficulty keeping all the threads straight. (Think balls of yarn the puppies or kittens have tangled up!) This is 1 book that I will be rereading. Also, not everything is resolved at the end of this book. Just saying...

Family, now and forever
Kai/Poseidon and Oleander/Jennifer/Aurora. Child hood sweethearts, but more. Oleander is the first character mentioned in this series who is in a secret elite unit and is feared by all…all except Poseidon. Now we see them together and learn about their history individually and as a couple. Oleander is fantastic…in many ways she is my favorite female character of this series because all the other amazing women respect her and refer to her for opinions and options. Her backstory is sad and makes the poignant moments even more sweet. Poseidon is just as fascinating with his skillset, demeanor and ability to break through to Oleander and trust.

Another great read in this ongoing saga and yes we get more clues in the battle against the protagonists that has flowed through this entire story We have met Oleander in an earlier book and this skilled assassin didn't give a great first impression but once you learn more about her and what motivated her you soon change your opinion. Kai (Poseidon) is all alpha but he also knows when to give O space after all these two have history she walked away once but he has no intention of letting her go again.

The two hooked up about six years ago, but she left before he woke, he has never gotten over her. What he does not know is she has purposely avoided him as long as she could but now they both are working with the UN coalition.
Oleander has secrets, will she share them with him, or will she push him away? Will the team finally take down the trafficking ring? Will she break his heart?

Wow! Another intense story right from the beginning. Oleander and Poseidon are the main characters here. We learn very little about Oleander in the beginning and as the story progresses, we learn more about her. The ending was a complete surprise on one of the agents and finding out Oleander was basically chasing a ghost but was able to get two of the bad guys taken care of. Would love to know what happened to Puck and now Z. FANTASTIC job Heather! I would recommend this book!

Revenge is a terrible way to live. Oleander has lived for revenge for years and it is wearing down on her. Poseidon has loved O for years and he is going to win his woman. Blow ups, baduns, trying times and smexy times to keep them fighting for each other make for a fantastic read! This addition to the Team One series will take you for one heck of a ride. I would suggest you read this series in order. BUT it sure is an amazing read!

Wow what can I say. This one will keep you riveted to the story. In previous books we’ve met both Poseidon (Kai) and Oleander (Jennifer). Now we are learning more of their backstories as well as learning more about the UN Coalition that was put together to put an end to the human trafficking ring that was introduced in earlier books. More and more information is being brought out and we find a spy in there midst. Where is this all headed to and what has happened to Puck and Z. Will the coalition be able to put an end to AMPS. What is in store for us with the next book. Heather has us all riveted to this action filled book and what is to come.

They tell us that we dont know what think when riding a great roller coaster, that you cant judge a ride based on its structure. Well, I can say the same for this book. WOW, what a ride. The twist and turns of the narrative is absolutely fan-freaking-tastic! There was just the right amount of suspense along with the known romance that goes with all of the books that Heather Slade writes. This one was EPIC and absolutely loved it! Thank you, another awesome read!

Poseidon and Oleander are on the hunt for the infamous human traffickers AMPS. Who knew that 6 years ago while going through their initial training that the were lovers until Oleander left without a word. I loved the way these two interact, with Poseidon going all in and Oleander holding back. But why? The intrigue of the Op, Oleander’s boss’s harassment and all the Allied personnel working with them make this a total page turner. Excellent read!

This is definitely an edgier chapter in this series. I was in a love/hate relationship with Oleander for sure. Poseidon was true to his character, he always would have your back. There is still the puzzle of AMPS to be solved as the secrets are revealed in this story but it always amazes me how the timelines work with the other stories in this series, a truly gifted author who takes care of all the little details.

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. Another mission with enough action and adventure to keep your interest. Poseidon and Oleander were working together with secrets they didn't reveal at first. Poseidon has learned to deal with a family tragic and Oleander was working her own angle on a case she has been following for years. This is a standalone read but I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Brilliant
As with all the books in this authors collections this was another great one. A very well written story as well as intelligently written. This writer writes in a way that makes you feel like an insider. I've read just about all of her stories and have enjoyed them all, military and spy work being my most favourite genres. I so look forward to what she has in store for us next. I highly recommend all of her works, you won't be disappointed.
As with all the books in this authors collections this was another great one. A very well written story as well as intelligently written. This writer writes in a way that makes you feel like an insider. I've read just about all of her stories and have enjoyed them all, military and spy work being my most favourite genres. I so look forward to what she has in store for us next. I highly recommend all of her works, you won't be disappointed.

In Code Name:Poseidon, Heather Slade really upped the tension, suspense and intrigue. Tracking AMPS becomes a hit and miss proposition with information drying up. The teams manage to catch a few suspects but come up empty handed more often than not. You'll love the relationship between Poseidon and Oleander as it develops. She's got secrets, a lot of them. He's loved her for years and despite her thorny disposition he's not willing to let go this time.

Wow Oleander and Poseidon’s story is quite the wild ride. Their story is non stop action from start to finish. After a brief affair years before neither has been able to forget the other. When they end up on the same task force hunting human traffickers the sparks begin to fly. How their story works out is a fabulous page turning read, loved it!

Bad *** finds it's sensitive side. Poseidon exists in many genres from romantic to suspenseful, Heather Slade brings temptation to the senses, even as she sets about breaking your heart. Poseidon and Oleander are the ultimate thrill. The emotion is intense and the danger is real. Haunting and honest.

"Code Name: Poseidon (K19 Allied Intelligence Team One Book 3) by Heather Slade was a great read. I enjoyed Oleander and Poseidon's story. This story had romance, passion, action, family, friends, twists, and more. This was a fantastic addition to this series. I'm looking forward to reading what happens next. I highly recommend it to all fans of romance, action, and series.
