Limited to 212 copies. Americum Nauticum Number Two. This manuscript was written by Rolfe at the time he and his wife, Pocahontas, accompanied the Governor of Virginia, Sir Thomas Dale, to England. For this edition, the introduction was written by John Cook Wylie, who was the curator of rare books at the University of Virginia. Next there is a Biographical Sketch of Joh Rolfe written by John Melville Jennies, Librarian of the Virginia Historical Society. Following that is " John Rolfe's Relation ; Note on the Pembroke-Taylor Manuscript" by Francis L. Berkeley, Jr. of the University of Virginia Library. The facsimile is bound in at this point and is followed by the transcription. Boards are lightly worn. 41+ 1 pages with the facsimile bound in the middle. cloth-backed, paper-covered boards. 4to..

John Rolfe graduated from Virginia Tech, The University of Florida, and Wharton Business School. At Wharton, he was the editor of the Wharton Vulgarian. Following his sentence with DLJ, he spent several years working at a private investment fund. In 2001, he co-founded an equity-oriented money management firm, and today manages the firm from a top secret location deep in Vermont. He lives with his wife and two children, and is currently attempting to learn how to produce maple syrup.
