At first glance this is a pretty book, with lots of nice pictures and a well-designed layout. But the pictures don't have any captions and have nothing to do with the content, they appear to be random stock photos. There is also no organization to the book, the recipes are in random order, with breads, desserts, pies, and savory dishes all mixed up. Many don't have anything Amish about them.

Worst of all, the recipes themselves look like they were written by an early version of ChatGPT. The quantities are random, the instruction calls for unlisted ingredients, and the text reads like a poor machine translation, with atrocious grammar and spelling errors and sentences like "Line up a 2 pie dishes."

In the square includes prep and total times, servings, some nutritional information: calories, fat, NOT broken up into good or bad, carbs, sodium, cholesterol, and protein.
Pictures are not with each recipe.
Lots of recipes that can be used everyday. Love the starter recipe for their bread, have used it before.

Good Recipes

This is a really good recipe book. It really gives good directions. It has a nice variety and covers many dishes. It is definitely a good book to read and pick what you like

Interesting Recipes

I found a few new recipes to try in this book.

Too many things I don’t keep on hand like Crisco, tart pans and packets of instant pudding, to make it into my top cookbooks.

Too unhealthy for me

These recipes would be fine for someone on death row, but for those of us who don't want to clog our arteries before we turn 30 I would pass on this one.

Not for me. No pictures is a big let down and just ok recipes can get elsewhere. Luckily the kindle edition was free so I downloaded it then deleted it.
