Rate this book

This is one of the most important tools for a clinician to have. A client's treatment plan is built upon their diagnosis. This is especially critical for counsellors who only do assessments and diagnoses and then hand clients off to other clinicians (something I don't find ethical--you should do your own client's assessment, otherwise you're missing out on critical information).

I don't believe this has come out for the DSM-V yet--I check Amazon every month or so. I would say that until the new edition is published, keep this one close at hand, but remember you'll have to refer to the DSM-V for new specifiers once you have the general diagnosis.
